Ehh....I'm no saint, and I'm far from an angel. Who am I to cast any stones?

you don't believe in there being different levels of things? or you see all fuck ups as equal? i can't look at someone (man or woman) who let's say, lied about going out to hang with their friends when they really went to the club vs. someone who is lying about a paternity issue as being the same type of fuck up...

kimi is looking at how her friend has been there for her over the years, and has yet to do any harm to her. As she said, she has always had kimi's back when the chips were down, so for that kimi is loyal to her. I guess when you look at the big picture, for kimi, that means more to her than this one transgression.

basically...

Kimi was fukin another nigga while she was with her man and her friend covered for her..... Thats why kimi aint sayin nothing

A fuck up is a fuck up. A lie is a lie, no matter how big or small the lie is. You are insulting the intelligence of the other party in any case. How can I look down on someone, or thumb my nose at them, when I've been a liar before? I can't. It would be a huge disservice to myself to pretend like I'm better than that person, when I'm guilty of the same shit on some level.

I saw the reasons, and I'm not saying she's wrong for keeping her friend around...if her friend has never snaked her then from that perspective she has no reason to suspect she'd ever do her dirty, I just disagree with that perspective...If I see that a person can treat people in their life that they're supposed to have a certain respect/care for as if they mean nothing, then I'd worry about what they could possibly do to me... there's certain things that regardless of how much you've been there for me, if you find yourself involved in them all my respect for you is lost...and if I no longer respect you there's no need for me to pretend to be your friend...

It's a possibility with anyone in your life, and that includes family. I ain't going to stop being friends with my homeboy, because he cheats on his wife every night, and possibly has a kid outside of his marriage.

And I definitely wouldn't be telling his wife either. Y'all need to read and listen to what y'all typing.

some level but not the same level...i see what you're saying...i have friends who are the same way...i just see different levels to things...i can't see all fuck ups or lies as being on the same level because they bring out different levels of being upset or pissed off...

maybe people should start doing that though

the reason people continue to cheat is because they learned there are no negative repercussions.

if there were some sort of punishment for their behaviour they'd be conditioned to not do it anymore

Look at the rate of recidivism for prisons, and re-think that notion.

as long as bystanders continue to cosign that behavior, what reason do the perpetrators have to stop and decease?

you think that's why bruh? LOL

People have tried and have been unsuccessful. Friends end up falling out because somebody either think they want the other, hating, or being jealous. Sometimes you may tell and it solves nothing.

How old r u? and Where are you from?

I didn't say I'd stop being friends with someone over cheating on their wife either...I said for doing something that would make me lose respect for them...it wasn't specific to cheating and not once did I say I'd tell his wife...but Young Ice actually has a point though...if more people faced those types of social consequences for their actions it would be a deterrent for some to not do it...

You know, I pressed reply, and really wanted to edit that part you bolded LOL!!

Anyhow, I still stand by what I said. Regardless of how big or small, a lie is a lie to myself. I get more pissed at the fact that the other party attempted to downplay my intelligence moreso than the act itself.

I don't think I would rat Kimi's friend out, but we couldn't be friends anymore.

That's just straight selfish and evil..not only for the unsuspecting man but for the child.

I couldn't have that on my head.

Lol...that part just jumped out when I read it...and I see what you're saying...the act itself is what brings emotion out of you...I'm the type that while the act may make me mad/upset...it's the details that will really determine just how mad/upset I will get over a situation...to me all situations aren't deserving of the same amount of emotion/energy...some shit you just brush off, some shit is actually worth making a fuss over...maybe it's my personality but I feel like if I were to solely get upset over only the act and not the details surrounding the act then I'd end up being pissed off every time someone lied or attempted to lie to me when sometimes it's not worth that at all...

crime has more factors to take into account than infidelity.

there is no need for survival associated with infidelity..
(unless you're threatened with death by a man who wants you to cheat on your spouse?)

if u knew that cheating would cost you your house and possessions would u still do it?

people cheat once, get away with it
and keep doing it

if there are negative repercussions after the first time i doubt they'd continue

It's not stopping niggas in South Carolina.

What gets me is the effort that is put into attempting to make me out to be plum dumb instead of just some dumb. I see what you are saying..some battles aren't meant to be fought, and I agree with you completely on that. However, LOL.....its like, "Did you REALLY just try to play me?? Fuck outta here"

I can see that with this post, you are kind of young. I mean no disrespect when I say that, either. My point is, repercussions or not, a person is going to do whatever the hell they want to do, with no regard to the outcome. When you don't care, you don't care. And trust me when I say this...its folks that get divorced because of infidelity...get married and do it all over again.
