I once told a chick at the airport...she was too pretty to be working there....

fukkin chick said...what's wrong with an airport job....I can fly for free when I want to.

chick helping me laughed her ass off...told me she knew what I meant. said chick is always on 100.

the compliment came from a good place...but its not the type to give to someone you're just meeting.

Its one of those..."after you've talked to her a few times...gotten to know her...made it so that she actually gives a fuck about your opinion" compliments

Especially if you have a nice job yourself...guarantee you'll have her thinking...

But she knew it was intended to be a compliment and chose to project her own insecurities about her job and or decision making on 2stepz. The other girl knew what he was saying.

It's not actually a compliment tho. Maybe she should have just said a polite thank you and kept her implied "fuck you nigga" to herself, but that's literally walking up to someone and telling them they're not living up to their potential.

The other girl was probably ugly and dgaf if someone told her she smells bad but she's cute. Some women don't feed off attention like that.

No you are too pretty to be working here denotes that you should not be working there because you're pretty. Either that means you shouldn't be working at all because someone should be taking care of you or you should have a better job than this. There's really no other way to take that.

Idk why he said the bolded in front of people, but on the flip side, I think it's important couples notice effort into keeping the other person happy. It's important to him that she doesn't look raggedy, so by saying that he appreciates the effort she put in, she'll be more likely to keep doing it to keep him happy. A lot of men don't notice the lengths you go to. I don't fault him for that. A little bit of recognition goes a long way in relationships.

I wasn't supposed to hear it they were sitting next to me at a restaurant and I was eavesdropping lol. I just thought it was some fly ass shit to say to a spouse

But if he says she stands out, it already means that a comparison has been made. You just said earlier it would've been cool if said that she stands out and just kept it moving (I'm paraphrasing).
