Here is the article

We’ve reached the second Sunday of the NFL regular season, and Colin Kaepernick still does not have a job. Tom Brady hopes that changes soon. The New England Patriots quarterback said in an interview with “CBS This Morning” that aired Saturday he wants to see Kaepernick, who has been a free agent since opting out of his contract with the San Francisco 49ers in March, back in the league. “I sure hope so,” Brady said. “I’ve always watched him and admired him, the way that he’s played he was a great young quarterback. He came to our stadium and beat us and took his team to the Super Bowl. “He accomplished a lot in the pros as a player. And he’s certainly qualified, and I hope he gets a shot.” The game Brady was referring to was a 2012 matchup between the Patriots and 49ers in which Kaepernick led San Francisco to a 41-34 victory at Gillette Stadium. Kaepernick completed just 14 passes in that game, but four of them went for touchdowns. He went on to start XLVII later that season, losing to the Baltimore Ravens.

Bengals players want Kaep

I hope that bitch ass Cac Boomer head explodes if they do bring him in

What has he been saying?

This was August last year...

Boomer Esiason 'disgusted' by Colin Kaepernick, calls QB a 'disgrace'

NEW YORK-- Everyone has an opinion on Colin Kaepernick's decision to sit during the playing of the national anthem before 49ers games.

Some people agree with it, and some people don't. Some people believe it's Kaepernick's right to sit, and some people, like former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason, do not.

Speaking to NJ Advance Media on Tuesday at the NFL on CBS media day, Esiason ripped the 49ers quarterback

"It was one of the most disgraceful displays I've ever seen by a professional athlete on his field of play," Esiason, now an analyst for CBS, said. "He signed a contract with an NFL football team. He has on an NFL football helmet. He has got an NFL uniform on. He doesn't have the right, I don't believe, to now start putting out his own political views in that form.

"It would be like me walking out on the field in my football jersey with a 'Make America Great Again' hat on. How many people would that piss off? You can't do this. ... I couldn't have been more direct, succinct, or disgusted by Colin Kaepernick."

In Esiason's opinion, the risk of keeping Kaepernick far outweighs the reward.

"I'd cut him," Esiason said.

‘Never Too Young to Disrespect the Country’: Fox & Friends Slams Unpatriotic Children

It’s Wednesday, so Fox & Friends had to find a news story to fill the remaining blocks amidst their discussion of politics and the usual blather. Fortunately for them, they found something that would give them a chance to vent about people who do not show sufficient loyalty to the country.

Who are these unpatriotic traitors to America, you ask? It’s…a bunch of 8-year-olds on a children’s football team.

The Cahokia Quarterback Club attracted local attention this past Sunday when the Illinois youths took a knee during the national anthem before a football game. One of the team’s coaches told the media that the kids have been talking about the recent riots in St. Louis and are concerned about the unrest around the country.

“One of the kids asked me if I saw [people] protesting and rioting in St. Louis. I said yes. I said, ‘Do you know why they are doing it?’” said Coach Orlando Gooden. According to him, one of his players responded “Because black people are getting killed, and no one is going to jail.”

Gooden said that as he talked to his team about the Jason Stockley decision, it eventually led to a discussion about Colin Kaepernick‘s protests against police brutality and racial inequality. When one of the players asked if the team could also take a knee during the anthem, Gooden allowed it “As long as [they] know why we’re doing it.”

The curvy couch took note of the story, and they were not impressed.

“I’m sure these 8-year-olds they hear the story and they’re like ‘can we do that too? That sounds cool,'” said Ainsley Earhardt. “They don’t know the background of the National Anthem at that point, but for the parents to be on board, wow.”

“Yeah, you’re never too young to disrespect the country,” said Brian Kilmeade.

The clip was a recurring topic on today’s show, and it drew predictable outrage from various guests.

Faux News will say/do anything to appeal to their old ass white supremacist audience.. Even attacking some black kids for being selfless and protesting unjust killings of black people...

Barkley also said he's been taking all the talk about statues honoring Confederate generals being torn down with a grain of salt.

He's a consistent proponent of talking about race relations. But he doesn't see the sense in removing or defacing statues.

"I'm 54 years old," he said. "I've never thought about those statues a day in my life. Racism exists. It's unfortunate. It has nothing to do with statues. As a black person, it's a waste of my energy. It's a waste of my time and really does nothing to improve the conversation. That doesn't change anything.

"I'll talk about race at any point. I think it's important. But I don't think about the stupid statues."

He also came down on the side of patriotism -- to a point.

"You should stand for the national anthem and you should visit the White House if invited. It shouldn't be dictated by who's in office. Obviously, I'm a Democrat. I have some strong disagreements with President Trump. I'm a big believer in immigrants. I don't call them illegal immigrants. I think Hispanics are amazing. I think they do work that blacks and whites don't want to do. I think we need to find a way to get them citizenship. I think they're amazing people. I think they get a bad rap."

im kind of boycotting if you count me just getting tired of sports and just not watching

If it wasn't for Lonzo Ball, I wouldn't be watching sports pretty much at all. NFL is watered down, NBA plays no defense and fuck Lebron. MLB....nope.

How many of ya'll boycotting the season? I haven't watched a game yet.

I was gonna buy some team merchandise, but I'll save that money for something else. It doesn't even matter if Kap gets signed at this point, the fact that teams closed the door on him for that like they did for as long as they have when worse players have gotten picked up is bullshit. So, no money is being spent on the NFL this year. I just looked at their list of sponsors and saw that I'm not spending any with them either.
