Ain't nobody in the NFL getting that much. At most part of their signing bonus is guaranteed by their contracts don't usually go past 3 years even when you see those huge QB deals. If you notice teams are constantly renegotiating and putting alot of the money either on the back end of a deal in the number of years they know a player will never reach or in performance incentives that are damn near impossible to reach

I hear you, but Magic Johnson already showed athletes how to branch out into ownership way back when he started his movie theaters and franchises. Actors/Actresses(Clooney/Alba), musicians(Dre), and athletes(Magic) all had built great rbands, but you have to spend your money wisely.

The significance of Russell Simmons is underrated because you have to remember the lack of Black leadership at record companies before him. Where would Hip Hop have gone if he's not teaming up with Rick Rubin back in 93' and creating Def Jam? Will Smith had a great line back during the Oscars when he, Halle, and Denzel were nominated. People were asking him about the lack of black roles in the movies and he said flatout that's on us, we have to produce more because Hollywood is never going to give us a thing. Same thing applies to music, sports, politics, education, and so on.

People rip on Jews for owning shit, but there's a reason such a small minority runs so many industries, they stick together and invest. for the exact same reason that average black folk spend their lives gladly working for others instead of trying to build their own shit..........then they even teach their kids to go to fucked up schools and work for good grades hoping to grow up and keep the cycle going
