Where's Sage Steele? She should've been on this shit.
Yeah, I don't understand why people are so quick to call Vick a coon over what he said. What he said was stupid, but he wasn't cooning. He never criticized Kap for taking a stance. The question was about Kap getting back in the league. Vick, as someone who was on the outs, was just speaking from his experience. He was basically saying what he had to do. Of course, everyone realizes that Vick actually committed a crime and he had to walk a road of redemption. Kap shouldn't have to do that. That's why Vick's comments were stupid, but he wasn't ripping Kap for anything and he wasn't suggesting that Kap did anything wrong. People are misrepresenting his statements. And unlike Ray Lewis who never really apologizes for what he says, Vick did. And it wasn't some fake "Oh I didn't even why they were mad at Kap" apology like Jerry Rice did. He admitted he misspoke and tried to clarify his statements.
Eh, it's a slippery slope...Vick committed a crime, so his road to redemption was different and he spoke from that perspective... But let's be real, Vick more than paid his debt to society, both criminally and financially... At this point, he's a VICTIM and Kap was right about stockholm syndrome because now Vick need a job and he is still being criminalized for what he did and not being uplifted for what he had to do to redeem himself... Vick should be a hero for how he manned up and righted his wrongs...I thought America loved redemption stories. Instead, Vick is still criminalized. Now he need a job and He's showing you that he's willing to play that game.. He might not be cooning yet, but I can see it coming.

I don't know. I can agree to some extent, but Vick has been treated pretty good by the NFL. Yeah, a lot of dick head fans still talk shit about him, but you can't say the NFL has done him dirty. He was basically the posterboy for redemption in the league and three different teams gave him runs even with some public backlash. So you have to look at it like that. He made some changes to himself and his life and he was rewarded for it. I don't think there is anything wrong with what Vick did for himself and his life with regards to the NFL. The problem with what he said is 100% that he didn't account for the huge differences between his situation and Kap's.
