Like how can you argue a point to cacs who think like this man? Brandon Marshall's protesting on BEHALF of the oppressed in this country, not because he's oppressed. If you really think about the response from majority white ppl, it's more insulting they don't even care to have a intelligent discussion on WHY theres a protest

You dont. Hes a coca cola delivery driver, not your state senator, mayor, or governor. Focus on the people that matter.

Yall waste too much energy with confirmation bias. Its the internet, you can confirm any dumb shit right now. A racist white dude can type in kentucky thugs on youtube, and confirm his bullshit. Waste of time to focus on white americans, or any american who not even trying to give the issues a second thought.

9-11 is coming up. People are going to have a heart attack when they see players, and maybe the whole Seahawks team take a knee.

They keep bringing up them being paid like folks ain't paid slaves everyday. They act like the NFL just gave them money like they haven't grinded for years to get there and don't keep a demanding schedule right now while he's sitting on his ass making a video in his feelings. I swear, most pale faces act like money is supposed to erase everything bad that ever happened and make life seamlessly easy. If he couldn't be oppressed as a millionaire, then why are you calling him all out of his name instead of respecting him like a man regardless of what he's doing? I'd like to see these motherfuckers have that enthusiasm face-to-face, too, but you know their scary, keyboard patriot warrior-asses ain't about that.

That's the shit I hate. They keep calling them spoiled athletes. Them dudes put in a lot of work to get to the NFL, and most of them put in a hell of a lot of work to stay there. They are putting their health and lives at risk, and for most of them they are shaving years off of their lives and reducing the quality of life in their older years. They earn that money, so these fools need to quit acting like NFL teams are doing them a favor by paying them.

What country do you live in? There are judges, senators, mayors & governors that have said the same thing & even WORSE than this man. This same racism & ignorance affects us on a daily. I'm not sure you have enough common sense to tackle race issues my brother. Especially when you're defending ppl like Ray Lewis for outright coonery

It's deeper than some random racist white guy delivery driver. Do your research:

That is not what their means of protest is going to be. I would be surprised if they did that as a team.

I just turned this into an album on FB.

Just to see what happens.

I want to see white people speak on this shit. I believe that people actually supporting the hashtag are just blatant racists. I want to know what the "I'm not like them" white people have to say because some of those comments were just ridiculous.

Sigh. Good for you. You have 1 example, and i can add to that with another example of that mayor last week calling the new mayor a nigger on facebook. So what.

Youre still focusing on some irrelevant individual, and should be focusing your energy on the people in power. If theyre corrupt, get em out. If theyre racist get em out.

But wait, we should i guess do nothing by your logic, and just continue responding to twitter morons. You have the god damn nerve to question my common sense, and you dont have the basic common sense to realize youre upset about a random?

Sometimes(most times) i hate you motherfuckers. Youre so god damn stupid and upset, but have no idea where to properly direct your frustrations. Then when someone tells you where to direct them, you google some fucked up politician as evidence that you shouldnt invest your time in the system.

THE FUCKING GOAL IS TO GET FUCKED UP PEOPLE OUT THE SYSTEM. FOCUS ON THAT, NOT TWITTER RANDOMS.

Military brats or children that grew up with thier guardians in the military usually have a different outlook on America and its social issues. Most of them (especially if their family did tours overseas) didn't grow up some what segregated like the average American does. Most of them have a large subset of multicultural friends. Most of them don't face the overt racism that the normal minority kid faces growing up.

You can honestly a lot of times tell who were military brats as opposed to regular kids easily if they are minorities and its because their situations growing up a lot of times are vastly different than the normal minority kid. It's kind of sad when some of them find out the hard way that what they grew up with thinking is normal is far from the case for a lot of people. People like Shaq and that one football player whose ideas got posted a couple of pages back are those types of people.

this is sooo fuckin true. i posted earlier in the thread a FB status from this Black military nigga and dude was saying how Kap should get fired & was defending police. Shit was odd, but expected from a sheltered military nigga like himself. Dudes like that aint gonna be able to handle their eventual "wake up call".

Im not gonna lie, I grew up in a military fam myself but that world is pure fantasy. Im glad I got outta that world to see the racism/inequality the military life doesnt expose u to.

Fox Sports commentator rips Kaepernick protest: Getting killed by police is ‘damn near impossible’

Fox Sports commentator Jason Whitlock said on Friday that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick “didn’t start a movement. He started a fad.”

Whitlock dismissed Kaepernick’s concern over police brutality in the U.S. as a “hot take.”

“The whole police brutality thing is a hot take,” he said. “Everybody loves a hot take because it is good for clicks, retweets, likes and popularity and relevancy.”

Kaepernick has declined in recent months to stand during the U.S. national anthem. A recent television broadcast of his protest sparked outrage across the U.S. and has polarized sports fans and pundits.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick said to NFL.com. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Whitlock dismissed the argument, saying that police violence against Americans of color is not as important as the number of murders per capita in the city of Chicago.

He compared the odds of getting killed by police to “getting hit by lightning.”

“Five hundred people have been killed in Chicago already,” he said. “No one is talking about that.”

“Getting killed by a cop is very hard,” he insisted. “And if you don’t run from ’em, it’s damn near impossible.”

Someone really needs to smack the shit out of Coonlock...

Fuck that fatty whale.

Considering I've had guns drawn on my by feds when I was 11 for wearing a bucket hat in the summer at night (and being mistaken for a "suspect of interest", I'd say it's pretty easy to be shot if I had panicked.

We will never see the end of (white) racism in our lifetime.. Our childrens children will be going through the same shit
