So far from what I've seen the NFL and his catch have said if he don't wanna stand he don't have to. There's nothing mandating a player stand for the anthem so there's no punishment they can levy that would stick in terms of suspensions

I support the brother for doing what he feels is right. A lot of people stand up and go along with the national anthem out of fear of being singled out for not doing it. If more people felt comfortable I think you'd see this more often.
