Lebron's just feeling bold because he knows he ain't gettin no more rings.

would bron say this as a rookie?

He is doing it now that's all that really matters. There's athletes with more legendary status from the NBA than LeBron James who are more quiet than a mouse pissing on ball of cotton right now.

Boomer Esiason 'disgusted' by Colin Kaepernick, calls QB a 'disgrace'
https://www.google.com/amp/s/articl...iason_disgusted_by_colin_kaepernick_calls.amp

NEW YORK-- Everyone has an opinion on Colin Kaepernick's decision to sit during the playing of the national anthem before 49ers games.

Some people agree with it, and some people don't. Some people believe it's Kaepernick's right to sit, and some people, like former NFL quarterback Boomer Esiason, do not.

Speaking to NJ Advance Media on Tuesday at the NFL on CBS media day, Esiason ripped the 49ers quarterback

"It was one of the most disgraceful displays I've ever seen by a professional athlete on his field of play," Esiason, now an analyst for CBS, said. "He signed a contract with an NFL football team. He has on an NFL football helmet. He has got an NFL uniform on. He doesn't have the right, I don't believe, to now start putting out his own political views in that form.

"It would be like me walking out on the field in my football jersey with a 'Make America Great Again' hat on. How many people would that piss off? You can't do this. ... I couldn't have been more direct, succinct, or disgusted by Colin Kaepernick."

In Esiason's opinion, the risk of keeping Kaepernick far outweighs the reward.

"I'd cut him," Esiason said.

aint boomer the same guy who got mad at dion sanders for saying it was drugs in the nfl.

boomer said now he has to have THAT talk with his kid.

dion said he should have already had it with his kid.....lol

we will fight another time.....right now....you got it.

Now if we can get our black military service members to boycott the military we will send a strong message that this country has to deal with the systematic racism and opression levied upon us by this country that has greatly contributed to our current condition before we hear about some immigrants or some gays or some fucking statues.

Yea I know what I'm sounding like

This was when Dion was on the CBS nfl morning show. I think boomer said something about his 12 y/o son not knowing what crack cocaine was. If I remember correctly Dion was quite shocked by that lol.

As a black man in the military it's fuckin frustrating. Seeing these white people get all riled up and for what? Cuz we won't conform to what's normal for you? We inconvenienced your time for your football game? We been inconvenienced for quite some time.

Boy, I love my football on Sundays. I never seriously considered boycotting the League.

Trump and his dog whistle did it for me.

I guess i'll be catching up on some readings/ books on Sunday afternoons.

Im starting to realize that Kap pretty much laid his career and his reputation at the alter of justice. Had to take a step back and see how significant this shit is.

It was all started by one man. Damn. Thats powerful stuff.

I think alot of people underestimated kaep's effectiveness but dude possibly sacrificed his career to expose America in a way we really haven't seen since Mlk.. I remember watching that Nevada Vs Boise game when he stopped Boise from going to the championship that year and who would have thought Colin Kaepernick ,of all people, would have become this influential?
