Has Kap spoken out about the actual NFL situation yet? Here's the only problem I have with this whole thing. When people actually want to compete for a slot on an NFL team, they spend basically the whole offseason training and working with people to help build a case for getting put on a team. I don't think Kap has done any of that, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong. I think he's been doing a lot of charitable and philanthropic stuff this summer. That's dope, but you can't exactly fault coaches for asking if football is what he wants to do in light of that.

I'm not saying that Kap doesn't deserve a shot. I'm just not convinced that he cares about all of this as much as a lot of the people defending him.

I know they signed Jay Cutler off the couch, I heard reports of Kaep working out twice a day. I don't know the actual training he is doing

There have been multiple reports throughout the whole off season that he's been training and working out this whole time.

He doesn't need to do an interview and beg for a job and say how much he wants to play football.

Like I said earlier in the thread if he didn't have any desire to play he would have just announced he's retiring.

Jay Cutler did retire which should have been a sign he doesn't want to play any more and he still got called before Kaepernick.

That whole "does he want to play" argument doesn't make any sense.

Hip hop takes an L for embracing this cac

When did this happen?

It's up for debate how one defines embracing, but off the top of my head I know he's worked with Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, and T.I. He's on songs with Mary J. Blige(R&B, I know) and R.Kelly (R&P) as well. Of course he's worked with Eminem too, but that's not saying much(for obvious reasons).

Just came from the rally. Good shit out there.

Matthew Stafford's Wife Just Sent a Message to Husband's NFL Colleagues Disrespecting the Anthem

In a patriotic Instagram post Wednesday, Kelly Stafford wrote:

"If you think the country can be better, stand for the ideal. If you think the answer is people showing unity, stand with them. The anthem is not the national police song. The anthem is not the national racists song. The anthem is an exercise in how this country can endure and rise, how we can agree on its future potential, even while struggling with its present.

The anthem’s words depict a flag that is suffering through bombs and rockets. You could easily view those bombs and rockets as the challenges our democracy faces today, and the flag a symbol of rising above them.” -Mitch albom

I’ve been hesitant to talk about this, as I know I will get backlash from it.. but I believe we can stand and show our unity against everything that doesn’t represent what this flag stands for.

Let’s stand united against terrorists, against racism, against white supremacists, against killing of cops, against police brutality, against sex slave trafficking.. against anything that is not the ideal for this country.

Let’s unite in the fact that God made us all unique and different and that is something we should cherish. You can disagree with me and that is totally ok.. let’s use this forum to discuss (not yell at each other) and listen to one another.

She also included a photo of the American flag

We already know white QBs got it easier in the NFL. My only question is whether or not Kap really even wants to get back in the NFL at this point.

He was talking to the Ravens. That answers your question.

“We came in the era we were patriotic. The greatest day of my life was when I put on the colors, representing the United States,” he said, referencing his time competing in the Olympics.

The former boxer also said during the podcast that he credits Trump for helping him out of his bankruptcy by sponsoring a Pay-Per-View fight in 1991.

"I was broke, too. Bankrupt. Put me back, he was part of writing those checks, so I could be on the wealthy side again. So I'll always be grateful to the entrepreneur Donald Trump," he said. "And now President Donald Trump."

"He's a good President. A lot of people don't like him, but evidently more do, because he was elected President of the United States."

Foreman also noted that he almost wasn't able to win the fight that night because Trump gave him such great meals and accommodations ahead of the event.

Yeah that's true. I don't know how much commitment that shows, but it does suggest he wants to be in the league.

It shows he would be on the team if the Ravens made him an offer.

So Kaep works out twice a day, went through an on field workout with the Seahawks. Whose head coach said he looked good enough to actually compete for a starting QB position. Sat down and talked with the Ravens. Yet this nigga still talking about if he has shown commitment and wants to play.
