On second listen, the album's theme made more sense.

I can see some people really not fuckin with it in a similar way that they don't fuck with TPAB.

He did a great job at storytelling and as a concept album, he did what he set out to do.

I fuck with 7/10 tracks. Favorite is immortal but 4 your eyez only. Very introspective I relate alot to it because I just had my first child bout a year ago.

That being said it aint better than FHD, and its not close IMO. His next album needs features. The singing damn near ruined the album. Get you some rnb cats/chicks to do hooks. Nigga out here sounding like Carl Lewis doing the national anthem. Plus it wont hurt for him to have a guest verse or 2. Granted I understand the album was for his homies daughter so he wanted to tell the story himself so ill let it slide. Didn't really have a problem with the production.

Every mixtape and album is based off of the stage of life he and his peers are experiencing. Cole is creating a catolgue of music that can be listened from beginning to end like one long story of a persons life. FNL was college years...FHD was young adult years....4YEO is adulthood...etc etc So if you're not experiencing those particular situations in your life then of course you not gonna get it.

For me, this album is not where I am at the moment but i know I'm going to be there soon so I appreciate some music that I will be able to relate too. The album is beautiful and hopefully one day y'all understand why.

On foldin clothes..its not as bad as yall made it seem. I'll tell you right now though if I was a cole fan like yall and heard those singles before the album and came in mad hype for this album I can see why yall would be disappointed. It aint what you was expecting at all.

But that doesnt apply to me so I can guess you can say I'm going in with no expectations.

Its not a wack album, its decent. I agree with the consensus 7/10

I really didnt personally gain anything from listening to this though this is some shit you play when you put the headphones on your pregnant woman's stomach so the baby can hear

Both of those are from the homies's perspective. Listen to em again. Neighbors is especially obvious. When has Cole ever talked about trappin?

She's Mine pt 2 is not so obvious, the only part from his own perspective is the last verse.

Nigga, he literally says "muthafucka I am" 100 times in the song. The only way that would make sense is if........
