As much as I despise the order of white supremacy I hate the fact that a lot of us can't take constructive criticism. We use our victimization a lot of times to justify the complete chaos within our communities. In actuality we aren't as powerless as we believe ourselves to be. A lot of the problems we face can easily be turned around with productivity and unity. We will never be in a position to confront true racism and injustice if we can't first confront the many social ills that plague us a people.

Come on people. Let use our heads here. Racism doesn't have to be as overt as it was in the 50's and 60's. We were a stronger people back then. In this current time we are largely a spiritually barren people with no clear structure or direction. The true racist poses as a friend and perpetuates the notion of us being defenseless victims. Because he knows that a people who look at themselves as permanent victims will never have ability to fix themselves up. I hope some of you see where I'm going with this.

Shots fired at liberals?

All Don Lemon said was the typical nigga with a shtick, agreeing with O'Reilly though is perhaps the biggest problem here.

Considering what kind of person Bill-O is giving him any sort of attention or credibility is tantamount to racial treason.

Lemon is a nigga that only works on the weekends and only really talks about racial issues anytime hes on TV anyway hes a quota filler, I'm not surprised at all with his "position"

Constructive criticism is all fine and dandy, but every time black people voice a legit concern, certain people would rather distract us by bringing up other problems then actually face the actual issue at hand. Sagging pants, education, nor 2 parent households have anything to do with the obvious injustices that are in our current court system.

Let me stop u...

Education and family structure are very important issues... He wasn't really talking about or denying injustice in the courts...

I disagree with his views and he's really oversimplifying the problem, but wouldn't go as far as saying he's a coon. I also don't really understand the whole if a black student succeeds everybody says that they're acting white thing. I came up in the hood and went to majority black schools up to high school and never experienced anybody being called white just because they excelled in school, usually people said they acted white because they really acted white lol. I honestly think that's something that is exaggerated to make black people look even more stupid. And the whole hip hop thing is just ridiculous, these comments always come from people that don't thoroughly understand the culture outside of stereotypes and caricatures. Shouldn't be taken seriously at all.

I never said that those issues aren't important, but what does education or family structure have to do with racial profiling or a young man getting shot and his murderer getting off? That is what is at the center of this whole topic being talked about on news networks correct?

His clip was about internal issues in the community...

I know this probably a diversion of the discussion. What do you think has been more damaging to our people as whole; the destruction of our family and educational values or being a victim of racial profiling? What issues should logically be tackled first?

But isn't the larger issue Black men dying over senseless violence?? While I feel like Zimmerman should rot in hell, Black men are getting massacred in Chirac, Detroit, New Orleans, and other major cities across the country. The issue these right wing pundits bring up, though misplaced, is a valid one. How can we be so upset about a Latino man killing one of us when there are so many of us being killed by us everyday?

OK just watched... wasnt that bad...a lot of players here say a lot of the same things...outside of the sagging pants part...

He wasn't wrong...

Black on Black violence is horrible, but blacks who kill other blacks go to jail in droves, while others too often get off or just slaps on the wrist. There's no way if the roles were reversed a black man would be able to go home after killing a white unarmed teen just walking in his neighborhood.

He said nothin wrong or out of pocket. You emotional pansies just want to cry and complain about everything

Bill O reilly was on point too.Truth hurts these niggas

Bill O'reilly always mentioning the fact that blacks kill blacks at an alarming rate...he almost making me think he care.

I don't dispute any of what you are saying at all. However, it's easier for the system to continue to justify why these things happen if we don't even place value on our own lives. While all of these people are up in arms about what Don Lemon said, many will continue to contribute to their own destruction. How does that sound to be so pissed off over a bitch ass racist (Zimmerman) killing an innocent teen when niggas are doing it everyday, regardless of whether they are incarcerated in droves? Apparently, thats not solving the problem. WE as African Americans have to stop our self destruction

Yeah, you African-Americans need to get it together man.
