for the record, I think Punk will get his ass knocked out but I wouldnt be surprised if he does put up a good fight. just remember, its not like they are putting him in there with a vet. they already said he'd be fighting someone with about as much experience as him.

now...if he had LEGIT experience in a martial art as in actually having belted in a discipline

then it would be like ok cool...but for a nigga thats "dabbled" in martial arts..eh

are belted in one or mutliple disciplines breh

then fighting at middleweight....which is one of the toughest weightclasses in UFC....

Dana White doesn't want to take any chances with him possibly getting exposed by putting him on TUF which would result in less PPV buys from a Punk fight even if he were still offered a contact. UFC is riding the CM Punk hype and waiting to cash in big because they know many of his fans from WWE will buy the PPV just for him even if they're not MMA fans at all.

In other words, Dana really doesn't care if Punk is truly ready or not, he's just trying to pimp his following.

The difference with that though is while a guy may have a pro record like that, he might still have tons of experience as an amateur.

My questions of concern for Punk would be, how many years of experience does he have with BJJ/Kickboxing? How regularly has he trained over the years? And most importantly, imo, does he have any experience competing as an amateur?
