My nigga you boarder line trolling.

I'm torn,

I want to say yes but he probably used ghost writers,

The Chronic is an undeniable classic,

and I feel the same way about that album sometimes..

Should an artist that use ghost writers get credit for a classic album ??

nah, i just dont see it. its not wack but i have no idea how niggas like that album so much to say what they say. different tastes i suppose but imo there are more skippables on mbdtf than graduation for sure, no beats or lyrics stick out from it to me. meanwhile i can bump shit like cant tell me nothing, what up gangsta or say hello forever. when i think "mbdtf" im more likely thinking my bitch down to fuck than my beautiful dark twisted fantasy.

It's subjective but imo there is no other album other than GKMC (which ironically was influenced by MBDTF) that has impacted the new wave of Hip-Hop and created a totally new sound for music the way Kanye West's MBDTF has. It literally birthed several sub-genres in Hip-Hop. It's a posse album which is consistent with the fact that Ye is a producer doing what he does best. It solidified Kanye's legacy as a GOAT.

Its ironic cuz those are my 2 favorite two albums in the last 5 years.

Nope.

Main reasons:

-No one EVER talks lyrics with this album, just 'great production". Or 'this is hip hop art'. Ummm, ok, so Its a sonic motion picture. This is RAP, no? The lyrics bring it back down to earth. And not just bc he's Kanye, bc he came wit it lyrically on Dropout (bodied Jay on Never Let Me Down) and to a lesser extent LR

-No Soul. He put his foot in Blame Game. Devil in A new dress Ehhh beat carries,it but he came wit it, too. Other than that...where's the Hey Mama, Roses, Family Business, Jesus Walks.

-classic albums are made from classic songs. Im sorry, buy what are the classic songs on here?

Great album! Not classic

"fucking ridiculous"

there are a lot of hot lines/verses and quotables on this album

as far as no soul, you talking in regards to beats or lyrics? you can't listen to songs like gorgeous, power, runaway, blame game, the second verse on dark fantasy, who will survive in America and pretend he was talking about bullshit throughout the entire album

Hip-Hop listeners are the only people who call things classics before allowing it to really age. No other music genre does this! An enjoyable or good album is not a classic. I seen the same shit with TPABF niggas calling it a classic a day after it dropped, yes its a good album, but what affect did it have on the culture? Not just Hip-Hop but black culture? Yes, MBDTF is a nicely produced album, as anti-African as it was, I will give credit to that element, but is it really a classic, this soon? Let time tell.

The album cover projected European fetishism, the lyrics glorified non-black women, while also glorifying Europeans. The videos for the album displayed Coonye Europhile tendencies, as well as his stage shows which glorfied European antiquities to European artistic elements with the ballerinas. The only influence I can see that this album had on Hip-Hop was more of a Eurocentric projection from other rappers that followed; more rap songs dedicated to non-black women, more non-black women in rap videos ect.

As soon as someone has an opinion that is not apart of groupthink they become a troll with you morons. The lies you parasites come up with. I still have your brain, and I'm not giving it back to you.
