But the cops who actually did things ARE getting away with it. Instead we have mostly black cops getting shot at. And now the focus has shifted away from the 2 shootings to this instead.

At the end of the day this only helps cops who go overboard and allows them to try and justify their paranoia. It certainly won't change any laws, or put fear in elites. instead is will stoke fear in everyday people and allow them to be pushed toward gun laws, and policing laws like stop/frisk.

Remember, the 1994 crime bill was born out of fear from the violence of that time.
