Yeah, Canibus should just hang it up, but Cash Out, Waka Flaka, 2 Chains, and Tyga, they can stay in the rap game because they didn't lose a battle to the the greatest battler in the world. No, Canibus has done more for hip hop than anyone you think deserves to stay in the game. Canibus never sold out, he stayed true to the art for 15 years. He's innovated hip hop, he's inspired some of the greats, he's set the standard for lyricism and the highest level.

He messes up in a battle and now he deserves to just quit? No. At least he participated in the battle. Dizaster called out every big rapper in the game to step up and challange him and NOBODY had the balls to step in the ring with Dizaster. Where's Nas, where's Kanye, where's Kendrick Lamar, where's Royce, where's Eminem? These cats are too scared to step in the ring with Dizaster? Yeah, of course they are.

Punishment? I think public humiliation in front of everyone on PayPerView and Youtube is enough punishment. You're basically saying "the man is down on the ground, let's kick him." He was swamped with a 10,000 bar 9 hour double DVD release, family issues, international tour, the biggest battle of his career, and was sabotaged by the border patrol agents before he got to the battle with stitches in his head and dislocated shoulder, and then people complain that he couldn't memorize THIRTY pages of rhymes off the top of his head. He already had to memorize a thousand of bars for his tour that he was on at the time of the battle. He simply worked too hard and couldn't focus as much on the thing that was at the bottom of his list of priorities.

This guy is the living embodiment of hip hop. This is All Hip Hop dot com, this is where the real Hip Hop heads should want Canibus to succeed, want hip hop to thrive, and help support his 5 year effort for his new album.

He took out the pad after he forfeited the battle. What he did was honorable. Despite after respectfully bowing out and forgetting his rhymes, he still wanted to give the rhymes that the fans paid for. He explicitly stated during the battle, you paid your bread, you want to listen to rhymes, then let me spit the rhymes I prepared for you. Why is that a bad thing? He tried his best to give the fans what they want. You know what should be punished, all the garbage rappers makin money, and all the big name rappers who laugh at Canibus, but are too scared to step in the ring with Dizaster. Canibus should be respected for putting everything on the line and actually stepping up to the plate. Even Dizaster commended him saying that "NO ONE would have done this."

You don't punish a man who has been working nonstop tirelessly for 15 years writing advanced rhymes. And he's not a lazy rhymer, you can hear the aggression in his delivery everytime he spits.

You should be punished for disrespecting a legend who has given everything to Hip Hop.
