I wonder how they will fit into the playlists.

its a different option on the opening menu i think.

u bet money n if u finnish top 3...then u win more cash to buy more perks/weapons n stuff.

gungame was straight crack on counter strike, so much fun...gotta get 2/3 kills with each weapon, u start with the weakest weapon then move your way all the up to a sniper, then gotta get a knife kill at the end to win.

if u knife sum1, u send them down a level, if u get a knife kill u go up a level

I'd go as far as saying I finish in the top 3 99.9% of the time on FFA.

I never played CS but gun-game sounds sick!! It will show who really does have the skill.

FFA is part of the regular playlist...so u get money/xp the regular way...betting is in the other game modes, forgot what their called...'Wager' mode is what their called, gungame comes under wager mode...

counter strike was goat...but it was search n destroy...which was still sick...but u had deathmatch servers aswell...n mods like gungame n other fun mods

I'm glad to see Hardcore FFA.

I guess equipment hasn't been revealed yet? Praying Tactical Insertion is removed.

lmao !!!

when is GT5 dropping tho ?...cos GT5 n pro evo 2011 n black ops is all im checkin for this year.

seriously tho...if BO is better than MW2...then that woud be one hell of an achievement, dif dev's so hopefully its not to similar.

i jus cant cant wait to use that lil C4 buggy.

I would. I've been playing nothing but FPS and it's tiresome and boring now. I need something new and refreshing. I'll eventually get Black Ops after I hear what people have to say.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Welcomes Back Nazi Zombie Hordes
Sep 27, 2010 06:00 PM

Call of Duty: Black Ops Welcomes Back Nazi Zombie HordesTreyarch's beloved addition of undead to the Call of Duty series looks to continue in the next entry, Call of Duty: Black Ops. Not exactly a surprise, but an returning feature apparently confirmed today by the game's strategy guide.

CVG spotted the inclusion of "Nazi zombie coverage" in the Brady Games official guide to Black Ops, which promises "a complete walkthrough to the gritty Cold War-era Campaign mode, tips and tricks to rank up in Multiplayer, how to excel in Co-Op, or fight back the relentless Nazi Zombie horde."

The Call of Duty: Black Ops web site GKNOVA6 is now teeming with Nazi zombie imagery, heralding an official confirmation of the popular gameplay mode. Who wants to place bets on mad Russian scientists mistakenly letting thousands of on-ice undead Nazis loose upon Black Ops players?

Also according to CVG, the new issue of Edge magazine features an interview with Treyarch's Mark Lamia, who claims that the Call of Duty developer has "continued to evolve [Nazi Zombies] after World At War."

"...There was a dialogue going on with some of our hardcore community, and we were able to interact with the community and evolve - we did that with our zombie lore," Lamia tells Edge.

Call of Duty developer talks up the importance of interactive scenery in multiplayer
Tuesday 28-Sep-2010 6:30 PM

You'd have to be living under a rock not to know that Call of Duty: Black Ops is coming out this November.

But while everyone's talking about the new Wager Matches and CoD Points, one thing Treyarch community manager Josh Olin thinks fans have yet to fully grasp is how the interactive scenery being added to the franchise's multiplayer will spice up games.

On a number of the multiplayer maps there are buttons to press to open doors or cue timed events, like space rockets launching, he explained in the latest issue of Edge.

"I don't think the community has fully grasped the importance of this," he said. "Take Launch, for example, where the rocket takes off. If you're under it you die, but one of the Search and Destroy bomb sites is under there, and there's a Demolition site under there too. You have to time your attacks based around when that rocket's going to go off - and you can use that to win the game. In CTF, I've practised with my team here at Treyarch to capture the enemy flag, take it down through that route at just the right time, so the rocket launches and the guys who are chasing me can't get under there and have to turn round."

In Radiation, a disintegrating Russian nuclear outpost, a set of blast doors can only be opened and closed via a control panel on a nearby platform. Olin says this could prove decisive in Domination mode.

"If you've captured that point, it might be valuable to send a couple of guys up there to take the control panel and close the doors. Now the only point of attack is down through the tunnels - so you know where they're going to come from, they can't jump in from above. It can really change how the battle plays out."

It's official: the undead are rising once more for Call of Duty: Black Ops as Treyarch confirms that the popular zombie feature it debuted in World at War is back.

Four players will be able to face the onslaught in co-op, and Treyarch promises some fresh twists along the way. "We've taken extra special care to retain the essential ingredients of our Zombie game, and have also crafted a nice surprise for the fans," said Treyarch boss Mark Lamia.

The confirmation of the poorly kept secret came along with news that updated versions of four World at War maps would be included with Prestige and Hardened versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops.

The zombies mode fills a burgeoning list of multiplayer features – we had a quick play of them last month and returned impressed by Black Ops' additions to the winning Call of Duty formula.
