I remember there was an interview with Gillie, and he said he wrote for Wayne and even let him borrow his chain for one of his videos. Shortly after, there was an interview SOHH.com posted around 2006/07 and Wayne tried to act like he didn't know who Gillie was when he asked about it. If others can prove otherwise, with references without catching feelings, I stand corrected.

I think Gillie coached Wayne's flow, but I don't think he wrote for Weezy.

Weezy's style did change and Gillie was one of the people helping him step his game up (around the 500 degreez/Carter 1 days), but Gillie said he was writing for Baby.

Gillie said he gave Weezy a few lines, but really only coached his flow, not ghostwrite for him.

I always thought Weezy's flow sounded like it was inspired by Philly on some songs off of Carter 1 and 2, even though Gillie was gone by the time C2 came out, he still probably took the pointers that Gillie gave him regarding his flow

He originally said he wrote Weezy's rhymes b/c Weezy dissed him on a mixtape.
