"But you didn't write it...": The Official Ghostwriters Unappreciation Thread

I have said Snoop, and Diggy through this thread.

I even named some of Snoop's ghostwriters. I know people who know Snoop, and his ghostwriters. I know he uses them lol.

As for Kingdom Kame about the proof for Diggy having his rhymes written by Cory Gunz (which is obvious if you actually listen to him) are interns at Universal where Cory got his deal at.

Snoop gave up writing like 15 years ago. Everybody from D.O.C. to Badazz wrote for Snoop.

His last album was completely written by other rappers. Not ghostwriters tho cuz they got credit in the liner notes.

Ghostwriters get credit in the liner notes it does not change they are ghost writers. Thank you for that tho. As someone who knows some of these people to have people doubt my words are more annoying than anything.

]Horse from Bravehearts wrote Nas' verse on Oochie Wallie

Superb allegedly ghostwrote some of Supreme Clientele for Ghostface

[/B]

Jadakiss and Cassidy wrote for Eve

Coulda swore AZ used to write for Foxy Brown

both aren't true. horse needed to bite a biggie line on his verse(not that nas' verse is good and worth defending, infact i wish horse did write it) and superb could never write how way ghost was spitting on SC.

You calling Noreaga a liar? You gonna f around and get hit with a flower pot. Plus I dont think Nas ever denied Horse writing that verse.

'til ya bodyguards Oochie Wally verse was better than your' - Takeover

Superb could never spit like Ghost, but Ghost has never sounded like he did on Supreme Clientele since he stopped fucking with Superb. And it wouldnt be the first time somebody in the Wu camp used somebody elses verses or lyrics. A lot of those Wu joints were group efforts.

Wtf have you been listening to Ghost had that stream of consciousnesses rhymescheme since he first came into the game.

And why would Norega know if Horse wrote the verse, furthermore why would Nas need Horse to write that average verse of his, Noreaga just put two and two together and said Horse wrote it because it was uncommon for Nas to have a verse so poor.

so nore was in the studio session? how would he know? and no i don't believe nore. nas has never been directly asked if horse wrote his verse so why would he deny it? idk why you quoted jay. horse having a better verse is an opinion and doesn't even have anything to do with who wrote it.

lol. you really think superb of all people helped ghost pen his joints? that nigga's whack. maybe if like cap accused i would believe it more.

You telling me this cat doesnt sound like Ghost? I'm not saying he wrote the album. Do some research and come back to me.

Also I think Nore said Horse wrote it cuz he did. Dont get salty cuz the facts dont jive with your world view. Why would Nore make some shit up?

From Supreme Clientele's wiki page:

In 2004, Lord Superb, formerly of Raekwon's American Cream Team and a collaborator of Ghostface's, made claims that he had "ghostwritten" the entire album of Supreme Clientele.[3] Superb has admitted to writing Ghostface a verse on the previously unreleased GoodTimes Pt. II. Tony Yayo of G-Unit would later bring the topic back to the surface in 2006,[4] however, in an interview with Rhapsody Music, Ghostface responded with:

"Yeah, I was in Europe when I heard Tony Yayo say that. That’s just nonsense. I still put mad shit out. 'Perb (Superb) is Rae’s (Raekwon) man. He been in the studio a few times while we’re doing shit. He ain’t write shit. All ‘Perb contributed was a couple of lines that you could put in the air. When we write, we all do that. “Say this one right here” or “Put this one right here.” We all catch lines with each other ‘cause you in the studio. You got niggas around you that write. Even if he did write a verse, he could never make an album of mine. He couldn’t make an album, you feel me? I made Supreme Clientele what it is. Those are my stories, based around what they’re based upon. It’s me. I can’t see what songs ‘Perb wrote. He ain’t write "Mighty Healthy" or "One" or "Apollo Kids" or "Cherchez LaGhost" or "Saturday Nite" or "Malcolm".[5]
—Ghostface Killah

GFK goes from denying he wrote anything to saying he contributed some lines to saying even if he did write a verse. He either contributed to the album or he didnt.

Are you illiterate, he summed it up for you already, thats it.

One wonders why Perb hasn't had a solid career then, Supreme Clientele ain't the only great album Face has made, and Face came in with that style, nobody gave it to him.
