Bullying is a problem, but after witnessing bullying in the typical American workplace, I have to say HS bullying is mostly inconsequential aside from physical harm being done. In HS you can just walk away, or punch the person in the mouth, what can you do when someone in upper management is picking with you, aside from leave your job?

Bullying is still being treated with false hoods such as "They grow up to be losers." "Oh, they are only bullying because they hard hurting inside, etc.

Had this convo with my cuz earlier today. This next generation is nothing but marshmallows. I got bullied in the 3rd grade back when I was quiet, introverted and unassuming. Today they would've said I had aspergers and medicate the shit outta me but thats another topic.

Anyway there was this kid he was the tallest kid in class. At some point he starts fucking with me. This goes on for a couple of weeks. I tell my parents and my cousins and they all say the same thing: "If he's messing with you just clock him!"

One day I had enough got on top of a table and snuffed the shit out of him. Then when snuffed him I got back down and punched his head in.

He and his lil cronies ended up being my best friends the next 2 grades until they transfered schools and my first real school friends since like 1st grade.

That would've never happened if I had depended on anybody else to defend me. He would've just kept picking on me and I never would've had friends.

This helicopter parenting enabling these babies to remain spineless is detrimental to their bottom line. If children don't learn to defend themselves how can we expect them to take on the real bullies of the world when they grow up?

That's why if you ask my 7 year old niece what she'd do if someone hit her she'd say "my grandma, mom and uncle taught me that I hit them right back". We don't play that shit around these parts. That's how you end up with broken kids.

But yeah like in '94 in 5th grade some hick was tight that we liked the same girl. He threatened me at lunch I told him to sit the fuck back down. Real shit haha. I still remember my first "fight", I was in the 3rd grade. Some new nigga to the school didn't like me (forgot the reason) and wanted to fight me. So we met behind some building at lunch, he had a friend with him, I brought a friend with me.

The fight was literally an exchange of body punches haha.

We became best friends after that, real shit.
