Clippers are dumb as fuck. So now that they got Chris Paul, what does that do for their franchise? The way I see it, instead of barely not making the playoffs, they're a guaranteed spot in the playoffs. Can they win a championship? Fuck no! Will they be able to the year after that? Nope, so what was the point of the trade?

What's going to happen when those 2 years run out? Chris Paul is going to bounce and go somewhere we he can have a high probability of getting a ring, not to mention by then Chris Paul will probably be on the decline.

So basically, Clippers gave up a young promising 2-guard, and a top 5 pick in a strong draft for an injury prone superstar point guard who's more than likely going to leave when he figures out the Clippers have no chance of winning a ring.

stars bring players. Name me a team that didn't have multiple stars thats won multiple championships. No they may not be able to win won in the immediate future but they are relevant again and they will compete. This is just the beginning, you need a foundation before you build a very good team and paul and blake are only gonna help in recruiting new pieces. Something that wasn't going to happen before the trade.

depth can come in time stars can't. This is the beginning..... You can take the opposite route and keep getting "solid players" like my team(houston) and then be desperate for a star. Stars win rings in this league... period.

He's a 6'3 SG.

I could just leave it at that, but he's basically the prototype of a numbers guy on a bad team. Helluva offensive repetoire, great triple threat, great 1 on 1 moves, but he's not gonna create mismatches, and the second he doesnt get #1 option looks, he's a dime a dozen guy. He just young is why he's an assett.

For anyone who disagrees, what does Eric Gordon give you that Nick Young or JR Smith (if he was a starter) not give you?

blake is a great talent... but kd is going to be a mvp candidate for the next 6,7 seasons ..
