This is similar to some shit i seen bout the nfl..i remember some stat had Peyton as the most clutch QB...when in actuality Brady,Big Ben both are more clutch.

the ball comes to kobe in clutch at a higher rate than any other player wich is why his precentage might be lower than someone who has fewer chances....u cant really compare percentages when the actual number is higher than the next persons....like say if I took 45 attemps and the next person took 4

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

this. bottom line... even tho he has missed more than he has made, he aint scared to take (and miss) clutch shots like some of these other NBA players who outright shrink in the heat of the moment so... fuck what this article say, im taking Kobe.

somebody summarize that sht for a brotha

everyone believes kobe is the best clutch performer, but after overanalyzing the stats, the writer has concluded that kobe misses game winners, doesnt pass, breaks the offensive play and player X has a higher FG % in clutch with considerably less attempts so kobe aint that clutch.

Leading "Game Winning Shot" Players: PLAYOFFS

Player Fgm Fga Fg% Ftm Fta Ast T/O

NBA 45 159 .283 28 37 17 19

Kobe Bryant 4 8 .500 0 0 0 0

LeBron James 4 8 .500 0 1 1 0

Dirk Nowitzki 3 6 .500 6 8 1 1

Dwyane Wade 2 2 1.000 2 2 1 0

Caron Butler 2 3 .667 0 0 0 0

Gilbert Arenas 2 5 .400 3 3 0 0

Tim Duncan 2 6 .333 0 0 1 0

Manu Ginobili 2 6 .333 1 2 2 1

Chauncey Billups 2 9 .222 2 2 0 0

So now you have select company with only eight players, all of them all stars, with at least two makes. And yes, Kobe Bryant is indeed tied for first and with an excellent .500 percentage as well.

yeah that nigga suck in crunchtime. :/

yeah some was truth. but my thing is u said kobe wasnt clutch in the playoffs so whos better? is my question who would u rather have in the playoffs taking a last second shot for u? who would u replace kobe with in the playoffs on your roster if u had him?

so kobe's shit in the playoffs but yet u can only name 1 current player better than him in the post season? and wade is good in crunch time but Ive seen him locked down on a few occasions.....and I was only talking current players

Im not no big wade fan cuz people overrate the shit out of him but wade>>>>Kobe in crunch time when it comes to playoffs

When I say clutch im talkin bout how you perform in the big games and crucial situations

If we just talkin Gw's at the buzzer or wit 3-4 secs left, horry and reggie miller have done it just as much as kobe in the playoffs Im talkin bout overall performance

thats a fair assessment... but wade aint seein triple teams in crunch time in the playoffs either
