this shit is too close to home. i used to go out to the marathon with my grandma every april vacation and watch this event. i was planning to run this race in a few years as well. my uncle decided this year not to go to the finish line this year like he does every year. my aunt lives 15 minutes from where the bombs went off.

Possibly 3 packages placed prior without anyone noticing. Then being detonated at an event that only white people care about. Then it's in a city like Boston. No important government buildings were targeted. Nothing targeted that would deter Americans from their day-to-day mobility. Nothing financial was targeted. No real landmarks symbolic of American hegemony were targeted.

Whoever did it will either not be identified, and thus Muslims will be blamed again by all the conservatives b/c "who else would ever want to blow up anything in America". Or some white guy will be identified and then the "why did he do it?" and "he must've grown up abused" will be thrown around to make it seem like there can't possibly be a pattern of crazy Joe American bombing things and causing mass destruction.
