The local officials are the ones who control the money for your community. They decide which roads get fixed. They award the contracts for the labor. They are the ones who set the local POLICE departments budget, not the president or congress. You want change then you have to go through your local government. And that local government SHOULD come from the local people. It is imperative that we not only vote, but we also need to make sure those seats are filled with our own people.
