I don't think we should vote this election, yes I know the history of voter suppression and our fight to vote.

Well we have to show the parties the black vote is not automatic and they have to work for our vote just like they do other minority groups

Im from NC and Im voting cause im not dumb enough to think that the vote for governor and mayor and all the judges and state reps don't matter. I am also smart enough to know that more often than not the policy of the democrats help me in my state. I also know that the president doesn't make law the congress does and that we have an opportunity to remove Richard Burr a republican senator who has not done anything in the last year just like every other republican congressman. I also know that no matter what you think of Hillary Clinton she is not endorsed by white supremacist or the Klan or the same people who thing black live matter is racist. I know that not voting places me on the side of the people who want to see less than human. I am not dumb enough to let the people who died for me to vote. who had crosses burn in their yard and the husbands and sons hanged for me to have the opportunity to down. smh cant scream black live matter then don't vote at least for congressional and local elections. fuckwrongwithyall.

what does not voting prove if they never wanted you to vote

them groups not working necessarily they pooling money. they put there bid in in the primaries also them other minority groups vote a lot even in off year elections. it too late for that shit now.

not voting is a vote for republicans. it is a vote for the blue live matter folks. it is a vote against voting right for African Americans cause trump would pick a supreme court justice. In NC we just got through this.

Your correct I forgot the most important part in all this; money.

Maybe one day we can pool our resources into doing the same thing.

I do think you should be voting for local elected officials because they affect you more directly than the president will.

I'm voting locally and writing in a name for President.

Still going back & forth with Shirley Chisolm, Micah Johnson, and Marcus Garvey.

First black president was on the ticket for 2012's election.

It is asinine for them to assume we gonna come out in droves like we did for the previous 2 historic elections. Use common sense. He was a nigga. We don't fuck with this white bitch all like that.

Who in any of the elections threads has even suggested for folks to NOT vote locally?

chances are if you not willing to go out and vote for president you not gonna vote locally. its still dumb not to vote. for pres. tho. but people got their reasons i guess

The difference is that if Trump wins the majority of people in this country will be fucked. Whereas with Hillary the status quo will remain. Meanwhile likeminded black people are looking at these candidates and saying to themselves that no matter who wins black people will be fucked.
