But with that said, it's an interesting bidding war... I don't see Roc Nation in the picture, and if they are in the picture to sign him, I don't see why. Not a good fit. It's between Def Jam/GOOD and YMCMB, and I've heard that Birdman and his money has the advantage.
What I'm more interested in finding out is who created this persona and whose been pushing him to the forefront of the game like this. There's no way this is an organic movement. From talking about him as a fad in January to coming out with full-length G.O.O.D. Music remixes with Kanye... something's fishy.

You're referring to King Louie.
It's like this... I know he's been doing this for a little bit (at least a year), but still, the first national article about him came up in January or February, a couple of months later he's working one of the biggest artists in the world and the spotlight is on him.. it's not adding up. Shit like this does not happen in the industry without the hand of a behind-the-scenes presence really pushing him.

hey you could of ended it with the King Louie stuff .... cheif keef and king louie have been collabing ... theres the connect right there ... kanyes old manager is still doing major things and got them plugs .... and thats just one thing we were able to connect ... no telling what else has been going on ....

i grew up with a similar mentality however where im from folks didnt make it yet even till this day DELAWARE and we are the first fucking state .... however we are finally starting to get a lil light over the last few years so we maybe an area to watch out for in the next coming years especially as the shine hits the east coast ... that sound that meek is running around with originated from a producer from delaware (sap da beat man altho he is really from chester, pa) .... allhip hop founder is a delaware native Grouchy Greg ... and alot more behind the scenes stuff too but im already off topic enuff
