I remember reading an interview on allhiphop with Keith Murray in 2006 and he talked about when he was younger and met Kane. Murray said that he thought that had he put his best battle rhyme against Kane on the spot, but he still couldn't top Kane on that day.

Kane is one of the greatest to do it. No one could ever fuck with the king of punchlines in terms of MCing to me. He just got the quotables and wit to make them stand out. To be a great MC you got to study "Ain't No Half Steppin", "Set it Off", "Warm it Up Kane", "Raw" and all them classics.
