Better Storyteller, Nas or The Notorious B.I.G?

Also another reason I would put Big over NaS is emotion. When NaS raps, he kinda just spits what he has to say doesn't do a whole lot with tones and vocals. Big on the other hand shows a wide range of emotion by changing vocal tones and raising his voice or making it deep. Take a storytelling track like "Gimmie the Loot" and "Warning" where Biggie plays 2 characters in both stories. One story his tone switches from deep to high pitched to the point that you get a distiction of the characters, the other one he's spitting angry as one friend is warning him about his enemies coming to get him. NaS would kinda of do this in "Who Killed It" but that was the 1st time he tried it some 12 years after Big did it on "Ready To Die". "Gimmie The Loot" remix was to be produced by Premo and featuring NaS playing the 2nd character to Biggie's 1st character but it didn't happen. My Avatar is of that studio session. But they didn't record, could of been ILL if it happen. But "Gimmie the Loot" Biggie had you feeling like you were in the back seat with these 2 guys on their robbery spree and cop shootout, it was crazy.

the trend in this thread so far - posters selecting nas seem to be doing so out of loyalty, often with little explanation - just listing his storytelling songs.

The case for biggie is much more developed so far
