The thing with big is, his stories seem less forced then nas's. It's like he was just writing some shit and it just ended up a story. Some of Nas sound like he was trying to write a storytelling song specifically

thats the thing about nas in my opinion. As great as he is, hes so boring that you never get to discover it. I mean from what ive listen to, he seems like a greater writer than Big and Jay but if you cant hold someones attention i guess thats almost irrelevant.

cant agree sun...u doing some heavy snoring while u r sleeping on bigs storytelling

Naw I'm not because I think highly of BIG I just think Nas storytelling is way more diverse than BIG's. Nas can get into more topics and different subject matter than BIG can. That's no disrespect to BIG it just shows how good Nas is.

Wow. I can't believe this is even a contest.

NAS owns this. Dude is a creative storyteller. I guess it depends on what your looking for.

Nas is more like 'The Wire'. More complex and lyrical because he builds it up and then the payoff.

Biggie more like 'A-team'. Simple but Entertaining.

Nas's storytelling joints like Undying Love, Blaze a 50, I gave u power, The message, Drunk by Myself, Fetus, too many.

Really there should be no comparison IMO.

nas is a great story teller but dude can't hold my attention for shit
you can listen to a nas song, vibing to it at first, then zone the fuck out
then 3 minutes later you like "damn,he still rapping?"
or maybe it's just me

Nas and that's just off of the strength of "One Love" alone. That shit was actually a scene in a movie "Belly".

Shootouts
The Set Up
I Gave You Power
Undying Love
Rewind
etc.

It's not even close really.
