Better Drake Album: Nothing Was The Same vs Take Care

I wasn't feeling take care outside the singles and lord knows. It was a regression from thank me later.

NWTS was just better overall. Better production, album had way more cohesion and balance, whereas TC felt like some tracks thrown together, drake actually rapped some hard shit on more than a couple songs...

This is a good one...

I have been saying NWTS is his best body of work, but after listening to Take Care last week or so (after playing Views over and over) I forgot how much of a great album it really is, and now I understand why others may think it is his best work to date.

I remember reading an article where Drake stated he and 40 thought certain points in Take Care were fillers and wish they left off the album, in which I agree. Like Practice, The Real Her (I'm sorry, that track is boring, even till now), Underground Kings (great beat, but the track does nothing for the album IMO).

NWTS is cohesive, with amazing production, and has some of Drake's best lyrics and flows (Tuscan leather, end of Furthest thing, From time, Too much, Pound cake, The motion, and All me).
