They are both equal MCs in my opinion, but just different ways of saying the same things. Cube was as lyrical as anyone. Nas was more of a wordsmith. Thats why Very few rappers alive can even be on these two's level. I gotta side with Cube anyway. Death Certificate is one of the greatest albums ever made

cube always knew how to craft classics at least his first three albums and then LNCL and Raw footage years later, but his vocab wasnt touching nas, and his rhyme schemes were elementary sometimes. he just spit with venom that you couldnt avoid and was a pretty good story teller sometimes (who's the mack) still not quite touchin nas but he's definitely a harder spitter, just not wordplay wise

The ic is tripping, nas catalog is full of hit and miss. His first was dope and then he spent years in the wilderness, came back with stillmatic but once again lost steam. Cube was a dominant force when both the east and the west were at a peak. And unlike nas, he actually is one of the best emcees at making a social commentary and being able to back it up. Cube wins by a mile
