The songs he didn't produce have more life to It. There is a reason why his two albums have come up short. His sound is very linear

So I Get Up, enchanted, dollar and a dream II, welcome, blow up, farewell, Higher, My World Is Empty, Dreams, See World, Before I'm Gone didn't have life to them? Do u even know what not havin life to something means?

j cole beats are bad. but drake attempting to actually sing is worse. the nigga can't sing b point blank. he can rap and he can do it pretty well but he can't sing. All the time drake been making albums nobody can show me proof he can actually sing well without studio effects.

All those beats except Higher and Blow ip are mellow. Name a banger, street or club that J Cole has ever produced? The one pitiful attempt with 2chainz.

Dreams is the same beat as Drive Slow and Shsawty wanna be a thug.

Intro to. Fnl is Dillas beat

See World is Tupacs Pain beat

Same sample, not the same beat. Big difference bruh. I like how ur overlookin the fact that the best songs on the tape were produced by Cole.

@KingGivBiz yo bruh, can u delete those three post before my FNL post. my mobile was fuckin up fam.

Ya imma finna get on my comp soon and do that for you bruh

born sinner is way better album. Drake's is good, but there's no comparison. Energy, lyrics, content, delivery Cole takes him. I think both have tracks that are just too mellow though.

I'm not going to lie, from 1st listen I was torn on "Born Sinner" cause Cole isn't the greatest producer. I commend him for producing most of his work thus far and I love some of his beats but some of them just aren't up to par. I think on the next album Cole needs to take Timbaland's advice and use other producers. With that said, "Born Sinner" is a better RAP, (Key word), RAP album than "NWTS". I also think Cole payed homage to the Golden Era/90's better than Drake did with the samples he used and lyrics he used.

Head Bussa my shit. I start my day off with that track

"they killed Saddam now I wonder Hussein (whose sane), how your balance being Batman Bruce Wayne"

Here is how I feel about it. Both are great albums, some forgettable tracks on both. But solid releases none the less, Cole still gets play with me, and I can't decide one fairly until I have have NWTS a few more spins. I think though long run Drake will have more replay value.

However, best this year is a toss between Jay and Joe Budden. Joe had a heavily slept on album this year.

when you add the deluxe version of B.S it is not even close

New York Times>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Born Sinner goes harder both are repetitive. But Cole had a few more concepts and subjects to speak up on this album.

Drake is looking really one dimensional and I think he gets a pass because he's mixing rap with R&B. But the tone and the topics are the same.
