Since someone did a thread about best 90's new york album ever so i did this spinoff thread. I know yall gonna say why aint this album on the poll. The west coast put out so much classic shit in the 90's i can only put 10 on a poll i cant fit them. you can mention it though. heres the list............

The Chronic

Doggystyle

All Eyes On Me

Niggaz 4 Life

Death Certificate

Bow Down

Get In Where You Fit In

Spice 1

Quik Is The Name

Me Against The World

ima say me against the world was more east coast then west. Pac was at a crossroads here he had a touch of both east n west production but it felt more east coast sounding 2 me.

but other then that lets add to ur list

mc eihts deaththreats

we came strapped

at the speed of life - xzibit

Dogg Food - dogg pound

ras kass

Soul on Ice

Rasassination

king tee's

At Your Own Risk

Tha Alkaholiks 21 & over

warren g Regulate...G Funk Era

Cypress Hill Black Sunday

the chronic. dre basically created "west coast rap" through his production and him/snoop's smooth rap style. then it goes death certificate, quik is the name, all eyez on me, and doggystyle.

I will vote for All Eyes on me but it wasnt easy because Doggystyle was my shit when it first came out. But I would also add

Cocktails

AmeriiKKKa Most Wanted/Nightmare(Cube and Spice1)

From this list, I'll have to take The Chronic because it set the precedent for the west coast sound and set off the G-Funk movement.

Personally imo this is the best west coast album of the 90's

AEOM, just has that westcoast sound, it reminds me of the movie Scarface, because it indulges in extremes and over the topness...it is the rise and the death of a legend....

How are you not gonna have 'Black Sunday' on here?

Be that as it may, it's between 'Death Certificate' and AEOM.

MATW isnt a West Coast album to me.
