Or a million views on YouTube
An still be unknown by the mainstream crowd
Which is really where all artist strive to be
You can't deny as a rapper u want to be known by as many people as possible which leads to getting the mainstream money
Simple math the more people check out ya music the more cash comes in
An XXL gives up and coming artist from different regions that mainstream push they want
Each year theres Atleast 3 or 4 rappers u don't know or heard of and u check them out right
So of course XXL Freshman list is still needed
Plus with the fall of alot of music channels actually showing music instead of sitcoms
Such as B.E.T taking all the music platforms off its channel such as 106 and Park, Rap City,....etc
