What has me hopeful is they actually listened the critizisms of the first film and trailer shows they tried to fix them unlike Transformers

-The Look of the turtles have changed - they are brighter and look more like actual turtles than reptile shreks.

- They including elements of the cartoons + toy lines . The Original 90's turtle van

- Foot Soilders are actually ninja's this time, if you noticed they had swords on their backs and ninja mask

-shredder is in human form this movie - negative no mask though

-less april oneal and more focus on the turtles

-bebop and rock steady - they were driving a tank shooting at the turtles who were surfing...thats a throwback to the 90's

Saw that TMNT 2 trailer. Actually looks ok. At least it looks more like the old cartoon and not like some wannabe Christopher Nolan movie this time. Will wait for home video though. The new director's resume is no better than the previous one's.

What's crazy is that the nickelodeon series now is pretty damn good, like

It's been good from the beginning. Same with the IDW comic book series that started around the same time.

The best turtles series was the 2003 series, but this is a really close second...

The only gripe I have with the one on now is April and Casey being teenagers, but other than that it's damn good

I couldn't get into the 2K3 show. I thought it took itself way too seriously and was pretty boring from what I saw. I also hated that cheap looking 4 kids animation style. Shredder as a Utrom was also a big no no.

To me this new show is the best since the original and much more better at balancing the styles between the original comics and the Fred wolf cartoon without being condescending or pretentious. Unlike the 4 Kids series. It pays homage while still doing its own thing in a much more organic way just like the IDW comic book series.
