just downloaded all the episodes of a torrent ... yall had me nostalgic in here

yea man this was the only cartoon my pop would sit and watch with me & at an age (4 in '92) where my mom was worried about the programs(violence/nudity/content) i would be watching she had no problems with this haha

Season 4 had a few wack episodes but it was probably the best , and the animation was better

Bruce Tim felt the character redesigns were better word to the Director's commentary and they had more of color pallet to work with and we got a new Robin and Nightwing so yeah it was better especially since I've seen all the episodes recently

The animation improved when the show went to the WB, I'm not saying the Fox show had bad animation. I liked the redesigned Batman costume but I hated most of the villain redesigns.

Director Commentary man they were saying that since they changed animation houses that they could do more things. Its only common sense that the Animation over time would improve and they would be able stage better action scenes also they improved the over all look and perfected it because Bruce Timm felt it was too dark because they would do the drawings on a black background and lint would appear you can no sign it all you want its straight from the guy who directed it .

Why is it that on Batman TAS they had all of that technology, but didn't have color T.V.'s?

i really hated that though. it was only because the show was inspired by time burtons batman. it premiered shortly after batman returns but if you look at the 89 batman movie they only dressed like that with all the suits and fedora hats. all the cars in that move were contemporary. they wasn't driving old model cars like fords with white wall tires etc.
