and be a little bit more creative and come up with some shit of your own. It started with the A Milli bullshit and now it's the I Wanna Rock beat, god damn can yall let the orginal artist enjoy their song without yall jumping on the mans music. I think it's speak alot that these niggas can't create shit of their own and gotta jump on other peoples shit; be a litte bit more creative. You don't get points for jumping on somesones track, using their flow, cadence, etc.

sometimes an artist has no controll ... when a dope beat like amillie or i wanna rock drops ... and your an MC ... you have no choice a track like that your gonna have to bless it ... the track pulls you in ... just for the luv of hip hop ...

and of course you got the oppurtunist ... but for the most part its just due to the luv of hip hop ... this doesnt happen to every beat ... how many Baby By Me freestyles have you heard ?? or what else is hot ... BEDROCK .... SAY AHH ect ...

its just them super dope beats man ... i think the first one ever was WATCH FOR THE HOOK ... remember that shit ... everybody n they mom had a rap for that beat ... ;)

Ain't nothin wrong with jackin beats for mixtape freestyles. It's Hip Hop. Shit don't get much more Hip Hop than that. As long as you try to rip it better than the original, you cool.

I like that shit, I dunno about everybody else opinion but I'm alright with it. That's hip hop, always has been.

You know what the fuck i mean, people freestyling on other peoples beats have been around forever. What i'm talking about is everyone jumping on the current hot beat and tryna do what the next man did. How many mfs freestyled on that Amilli beat, 30000000000000.

I agree with this. Seems like this has always been going on. Plus, I like to see different artist take on a certain track.

I agree with this. But I think threadstarter is talking about how 1000000000 underground/unknown rappers flood the same beat to the point where the fans can't tell the good from the wack.

Not if you search "A Millie freestyle" or "I Wanna Rock freestyle" in youtube and you get a million different random rappers throwing in their two cents. If 999,999 other people just rapped over the same beat, why would you make yourself the millionth follower? Do something original and different.

mayne sometimes its needed... like when a whack ass rapper gets a dope beat (ie: Rocko) its like we need to hear someone with skill take it on. and what about diss tracks? some of the best ones were beat jacks:
