Maybe MOST other white rappers don't sell like Eminem because they're not as good. Even those that hate Eminem, can't deny his skill. Eminem accepts the fact that some people are not gonna admit they like him because he's white, but he doesn't dwell on it on every song. That's where Haystak fucked up. Haystak has always limited his audience because every song is about the trials & tribulations of the white man. I appreciate him having the balls to tackle a taboo subject, but I also understand why a black man is not gonna appreciate, or relate, to those songs. However, I don't agree with the "safe" route that Lil Wyte and Paul Wall take by not mentioning race in their songs. Now don't get me wrong, Paul Wall and Lil Wyte have done more for white rappers' credibility than any other white rappers before them. But at the same time, I almost feel cheated when listening to their music because you know they have faced issues due to being a white man in a black man's industry. Eminem has done a better job at balancing these subjects than any other white rapper. Because of that, the whites can relate and most blacks respect him for addressing it in a fair and balanced matter. Just my 2 cents......let the hate continue....

Being white plays a part but eminem has the talent to actually create hit songs...there are a host of white rappers who are damn good on the mic, just spittin and being lyrical, but they can't actually make SONGS.

RA the Rugged Man, Cage, Slaine, Copywright, etc. are ill RAPPERS....but eminem is an ARTIST.

The Dre co-sign im sure helped, but not as much as some may think.
