Dope episode. It was good to see my nigga Constatine again. I hope they begin revealing more of Baron Reiter's character and motivation. Honestly that'd be the only way to get me engaged in the flashback storyline

this epi is how flashbacks should be done imo. Directly relating to the main storyline in a more obvious way and not as some background story that viewers prob wont give a fuck about until the last episode where everyone's gonna be like "ohh i guess i should of paid attention to 4+ seasons worth of fucking flashbacks because apparently they mean something now". Hopefully the writers know where they're going with these flashbacks and make them all make sense by the end of the show.

I think they should have brought in the magic earlier in the series, like in the first season. At least hinted at it. It's a bit too much too fast. At least to me.

It's like Flash. They introduced Grod first season so it wasn't that outlandish that King Shark showed up this season.

They have magical water that brings people back from the dead last season. Also magical herbs that heal you after you get stabbed in the belly and fall off a cliff edge. They done did it last season.

Yeah, after they established a more realistic tone in the first 2 seasons. And what you mentioned didn't happen until the second half of season 3. Now we got a dude that can stop arrows mid flight, they can bring people dead for months back to life, find secret lairs using magic, transfer tatoos magically, and even teleport to the spirit realm to retrieve the aforementioned resurrected person's soul. It could have been a build up over all seasons and not a sudden ramp up.

Yes, it's called developing a story. If the series stayed the same from A to B, it would be pretty boring.

It has been built up over seasons. Malcolm returned from the dead in season 2. Thea returned from the dead in season 3. Sara has returned from the dead in season 4. Notice a recurring theme?

Don't ignore the obvious that takes away substance from your argument.

Serious question, did Malcolm get brought back to life or was his death simply alluded to? I didn't think he died and then got brought back to life by magical means. If not, then magic didn't start until season 3 and now it's been ramped up in 4. And don't just gloss over all the extra magic shit that's happened in season 4 to support your point. It ain't just been about resurrection this season. They took this magic shit to another level, and quickly.

There's only a few pits in the world and only a handful of people know where they are. Malcolm is one of them. This might be a bit spoilerish because of things that have happened so far. They just might use this to explain why he's so numb to shit. They been dropping a bunch of hints here and there if you have been paying attention. You really think something as important as the pit is just gonna be destroyed? LOL I'm pretty sure that the actual pit is deep under the place. I highly doubt that they were just gonna keep using that little cam'ron pool lol.

And there has been magic and supernatural shit on arrow. They just been slowly adding it in. I spoke on this a few pages back. They just speeding shit up now because of flash just coming straight out the gate with it. Also the "legends of tomorrow" show is coming soon. Plus in a few more episodes they about to introduce savage, ATOM(ray palmer) hawk girl/man. So basically we getting a Neanderthal, shrinking particles, and aliens. This show is finally going where it should have been in the first place. I guess they saw it worked for flash so now they gonna let loose.

Once again, my nigga grundy really bout to show back up now god damn it!!!!!

Why does this bitch laurel think her and the gawd be on the same level.

Yeah, that was some crazy-ass left field feminist shit that I feel the writing staff just left unaddressed.

Oliver's response should have been "I have been doing this for nearly a decade. I have been used as an assassin and spy. I am a trained torturer. I have years of experience fighting in the real world. I've been shot, stabbed, and dropped off a fucking mountain. You say I don't see you as an equal? It is because you aren't."

He HAS to drop that etherous reality check. Bitch been taking self defense courses her whole life but only doing practical application for less than a year. First season Oliver would've murked everybody before she got time to get beat the fuck up, so at least he should do now is verbally kill with the truth.

My bad I forgot...THIS BITCH LAUREL!

As one of the few who watched Constantine on here I appreciated seeing Matt Ryan in the role again. Show is still a chore to try to get into though. I had to skip a lot of the last episode to get to what I wanted to see (Constantine). I'll probably check it tonight cause of The Atom but it's crazy how much The Flash runs laps around this shit.
