Once at the light, Homere fired a 9-mm handgun into the Porsche, striking and killing Chinx and wounding his friend and Coke Boys affiliate Yemen Chee$e, real name Antar Alziadi.
“There was nothing about this investigation that was easy,. We chased literally hundreds of investigated leads and hit a lot of brick walls. But the guys just kept on digging. I take pride in my people, the job that they did, that they never quit, they never gave up when most detectives would’ve walked away from the case.”

According to reports, the person that killed rapper Chinx in May 2015 was a rapper named Qwality.
Qwality attended Chinx's vigils, wake memorial and publicly wore R.I.P. Chinx clothing. He also allegedly flew to Florida with Uncle Murda the week after the killing. He also retweeted Chinx's debut album in August 2015 on Twitter.
