I always wondered why they wore jackets in Miami. I wouldnt think they were necessary. I aint dissin nothing 2 live crew were big in the South for years into the 90s. but thats the only thing I can think of seeing that album cover and remembering their videos.

University Of Miami "The U" was big back then didnt you watch the 30for30?,so Miami College/City was a household name back then,so they rep it.

Oh I was just thinking of the weather aspect. Im in Georgia and remember being a lil kid watching their videos thinking "are jackets feasible in Miami?" Just from the heat of the place thing.

Thats how rappers dressed. It was the same way with NWA. They wore the black Raiders and Kings coats in their videos when it was 80 degrees and sunny. They were trying to dress like New Yorkers who dress like that because it gets cold in NYC.
