Thinking of going down there for vacation in a couple of weeks. I haven't made a concrete decision yet. Anyone have any good recommendation for a good vacation spot that's safe and cheap?

Yup. The most naturally beautiful country my eyes ever saw.

Jaco. Go to Jaco.

Do the ziplining, and then take the tour to go up to the volcanoes. Then ride the horses through the jungle and beachside.

Avoid the women on the street. Try to hollar at women working in Subway or selling jewelry or maybe inside the club or a hotel.

The People for the most part were cool. WAtch your speed bc the cops will pull you over. They do kmph instead of mph and that shit will confuse you, and the cops will pull you over for going above the speed limit. I had to give them two bottles of rum to get out of a ticket. Before I gave them that they threatened me with jail.

Some taxis have a scheme where when you're coming out of a parking spot at night at a club they will immediately pull behind you and make you hit them. They're in with the cops and will threaten if you don't pay them $200 they'll report it and call the cops, which the cops will be right across the street. If the cops smell any alcohol or give you the breathalyzer you're fucked. I had to pay a dude $50 for that shit. Wasn't giving up $200 but it was some BS.

Other than that, it's cool

So I've narrowed it down between Jaco, Costa Rica or Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Tough decision, but I'm slightly favoring DR because of the women.

I used 2 work with one. She was well kept I must say. I hate when women get close and just Fucking stare in ya face. Wanted me to play on our softball team I made up a lie and told her no. She was ALL in my FACe with her accent: U Cont teeeven looog add me! She was bad. Told me her mom's told her and her sisters to ALWAYS look their best. Costa Rican woman thing. Full hair, outfit, accessories, shoes and make up. Never know when she would come a across her husband mom's said. Even sitting around the house or going to the grocery store interesting .

U fly into the main middle of the island and can take a short plane ride to the beach or u can rent a car and drive. If u go to Manuel be sure u get 4wd.

I didn't get on any broads out there so can't provide any help. Posted pics on the travel thread though nice place. Food wasn't that good.

Yeah Manuel Antonio is a nice beach but gets mad crowded. The jungle there is nice though but since they built out the road to it and built that big-ass hotel it's way too many tourists. Foodwise you can't really win unless you know the right spots (El Patio for breakfast, The Italian place near El Avion, the surfer taco spot on the main road and the upstairs sushi spot in Quepos by the ocean). Also Pollo Campero whenever possible.

Jaco is basically a shithole only good for surfing. It can be fun with friends but I don't think I'd go back again unless I had to.

Punta Cana? Women? You gonna have a good time, but look Dude, you gonna run into Dutch, Russians English women, French women and everything but a Dominican woman if you staying at the resort. And the resorts make up 95%of Punta Cana. Punta Cana women are also on curfew when they work with the resort, and if caught in the room of any guest or suspected affair they're fired. I know because I tried and felt like I had to figure out a riddle or espionage to meet up with the babe after work. Anyway, I did and got to another hotel and fucked so it's possible, but shit wasn't easy.

That's a great job for those women so they're not anxious to risk losing it, and the only ones you'll see are gonna be the ones working in the hotel BC regular Dominicans can't afford to just kick it in Punta Cana.

Best advice is try to get away from the resort and you'll have much better fuckin luck

Costa Rica is a nice country and so is Dom Rep. Panama is another place that is fun to visit or maybe even relocate if you have a solid pension and money saved away.
