It is, especially if you gotta reach a quota and its getting late in the month. I used to sell hard the first two weeks then just coast

Yeah and that shit sucked a big bag of elk dicks too. I worked for some telemarketing company selling newspaper subscriptions all around the country. I got hung up on, cursed out and just down right disrespected for two weeks. The South and Central US states was always the easiest cause they would at least talk to you but East coast niggas you can forget that shit. I can remember sweet talking some old ass lady who probably shouldn't have been answering the phone into a premuim subscription of our bullshit (no i didn't care). Fuck sales jobs!

Hell yeah, same exact shit. This was a few years back. Me thinking it was an actual legit one on on interview, got dressed up w/ a resume and everything. Man after about 30mins of listening to dude talk, I straight dipped outta there in the middle of the group interview. Even at 18 years old, I knew it was some BS. Cracka had the nerve to cop an attitude when I walked out too: "If there's anyone else who wants to leave. Leave now, so you wont waste anymore of my time." haha

That is so funny. I think we had a lil break or something then I just left. There was another one in Tampa trying to get us to sell perfume. After you sold the perfume then you start making money.

Yep..I worked at the airport as a rental agent at Alamo Car Rental..Commission checks was huge during the summer...Commission checks was sometimes like 5 times my monthly wage in one month. Did mortgage sales too from 05-07. Good money but got out when the market tanked. Doing life insurance and health sales now. Only thing i like about sales is that you can make your salary if you get with the right company and market the product effectively. Bad side is you are always stressing about meeting your quotes for the month..but hey its life
