Most Christians today now believe the universe and earth are billions of years old, most believe on evolution or adaptation. Just ask those Christian scientists that are highly praised for being scientists and believers.

@Vibe.....

No shit.....

Why y'all keep ducking my question tho' ??????

Here is the question again…. Does evolution stop with humans, are we it? Or does evolution apply to the races?

"The greatest pleasure is to vanquish your enemies and chase them before you, to rob them of their wealth and see those dear to them bathed in tears, to ride their horses and clasp to your bosom their wives and daughters."

Evolution does not stop at humans. Race is a social term applied to a selection of phenotypic traits shared by populations of humans. Race is meaningless to evolution rather geographic regions matter. Even this is mitigated by the ability of humans to move great distances in short periods of time.

I already told him this but he just likes to ask the same question over and over; he thinks that equals to making a point I guess. His whole thing is that he is using racist agendas to attempt to disprove evolution. The author of the book he continues to quote has been exposed as a racist with bullshit research and ill methods so his whole argument starts to fall apart there. He claims that asian brains are the larges, whites are in the middle and blacks being the inferior race. This hasn't been scientifically proven, evolution does not give one race an advantage over another.

LOL... @Jaded Righteousness..... made your bitch ass change your avi and name......

@Whar.....

My question was for @Vibe......

I have already been through this with you.......

Race is essential in studying the "evolution" of humans.......

"Though few of the bits of human genetic code that vary between individuals have yet to be tied to physical or behavioral traits, scientists have found that roughly 10 percent of them are more common in certain continental groups and can be used to distinguish people of different races. They say that studying the differences, which arose during the tens of thousands of years that human populations evolved on separate continents after their ancestors dispersed from humanity’s birthplace in East Africa, is crucial to mapping the genetic basis for disease."

Why you keep running from your science.......

Anyways, you already admitted that you agreed with the "evolution" of the races....

And that the European was more "evolved"........

Race is not the evolution of humans. What we consider as race are mostly phenotypic presentations of adaptions to climate. I have found a number of 6% you quote a 10% amount. By your our admission 90% of what makes up humans is unrelated to 'race'. Yet you want to stress this fraction of our genome into some larger level. You offer no reason why just that somehow science supports it.

I have never agreed that Europeans are more evolved. I would be willing to state that pale Europeans are better adapted to colder climates than dark-skinned Africans but the thought that an organism is 'more' evolved displayed a fundamental misunderstanding of evolution. The most you can do is pick an ancient species, like H eructus, then compare extant organisms to it. This would determine which organism has diverged more. But this would be due to being in a different environment.

You act like you cant read..........

“There are clear differences between people of different continental ancestries,” said Marcus W. Feldman, a professor of biological sciences at Stanford University. “It’s not there yet for things like I.Q., but I can see it coming. And it has the potential to spark a new era of racism if we do not start explaining it better.”

I had requested to change my name a while ago and ThatdamnJay finally got around to it. Jay had a thread on it and a lot of people changed their names. My Jaded Righteousness name actually fit my personality regardless of what you think; West Brooklyn was my original acct when I first joined the IC and I lost the password for it but I wanted the name back. I have an acct called West Brooklyn II but Jaded Righteousness has more posts on it. So no, you didn't make me change my name. Faded Righteousness was a good name too even though ya'll thought ya'll was clowning with it, it still fit. I used to be a Christian. That's what Jaded Righteousness was referring to, so Faded Righeousness would have still worked.

I change my avi every so often. VIBE actually influenced that; I seen him say he changes his avi bout every week. I wanted to keep mine interesting too. I'm almost tired of seeing this one. So no, you didn't make me change that either
