And verses are a part but not a huge part of somebody being Top 10.... Because if not having a WACK verse makes u Top 10 then Jada really is Top 5.....

Dre is easily in one of the tops spots, his work group or alone speaks for its self. Jordan got rings with Pippen, but Pippen was no Jordan so don't get it it twisted even though Pippen lead the Blazers the didn't win a ring. Completely agree with this; Andre 3000 is dope but so is Big Boi; both of them together bring a lot of awesome music. I think if 3000 had a set of solo albums too which helped shape a legacy for him as an individual then yes, but at this moment in time I'd still keep them as a collective.

Yea he wrote all his verses but verses are the only part of the album? When in a group its easy Especially if its somebody u been rapping with for a while because u can casually bounce ideas off each other... But when ur a solo artist its just u, ur ideas, and ur note book... Rappers have ppl around them to bounce ideas off of but alot of the time they are not artist so they may just be yes men and not understand what makes great music... Perfect example is Bun B, he can spit his ass off but without Pimp C he's not the same because Pimp C added that "Artistic" view to UGK.....

So In my opinion u judge a solo artist by their solo work but u judge a group by its group work....

I hear ya... but I dont think that Dre's Outkast material counts for any less because he was in the studio with Big Boi. That they fed off each other doesnt discredit that Dre has been one of the most consistently great MCs ever
