@beenwise. The only deception I see is that you think you are better off than the rest of the world by what you know. If Jesus didn't do what the Bible said he has done, it is not a blow to our intelligence or our methods of control. It's a blow to our very existence. We all would still be in sin and Hell is certain regardless of how righteous or smart we think we are. Satan wants us to think we can attain righteousness apart from God and the scary thing about it is that there is some truth to that.
