The CDC is in the ATL area so it wasn't that far away from where they were. Their little camp was on the outskirts of ATL. The CDC is probably on the other side of the city from where they were.
Also buddy with the crossbow probably the realest on the show. He doesn't seem to be nearly as much of an asshole as his brother. When they first introduced him, he seemed to be cool with everyone until they told him about his brother. It's funny how he keeps calling Glen "the Chinaman" even though he knows dude's name.

Kinda makes u wonder wtf would u really do when the end might actually be at hand. The doc fucked me up when he told them that "...this is our extinction event." That right there would suck the hope right outta me. Especially after he pretty much let it be known that the entire world was fucked up with that zombie shit.
The doc was dead wrong for trying to decide for everyone to just give up and off themselves through the CDC's self-destruction protocol, though. That choice wasn't up for him to decide alone.

I hope it doesn't take that long for the next season to start up...this was a pretty good 1st season..it got me hooked and when it comes back on next year I'm gonna be watching for sure...hopefully next years seasnon is a little longer than this years.
