This episode was really good, but I wish it was longer. Seemed to short.

Yeah for reals... I know it's an hour long but for some reason it feels short to me as well... Maybe it's cuz I enjoy the show too much? Can't believe there's only 3 shows left. Heard the 2nd season will have 13 episodes, so that's a plus!

And there must be some heavy duty politics going on behind the scenes. Who in the hell signed off on 6 episodes for the entire season? The company must be nickel and diming like nobody's business. Season's gonna be over before it even starts.

Honestly how long can a zombie show go on? At some point people are going to get tired of the same old same old. See a zombie, run or try to kill it. There isnt nothing else to it. I think 6 episodes is a great idea. That way they can come back next year and try to make the show fresh.

Getwitcha

I wonder where the redneck went after he cut his hand off........

Maybe he jumped off the roof, or his hiding in the cut somewhere. Whatever he did, it must have been something to lure all those zombies away from the door, because zombies just don't get tired and walk away, unless there is something else to draw their attention away. I hope they address that.

I'm pretty sure the bigot is duckin somehwere??? I just wanna know where the fuck he ended up at? How the fuck did he get out of the fuckin roof with the door locked and shit? Not unless there's another way out? Or he climbed down somewhere? But I think it would be pretty difficult to do that with one fuckin hand. And with the amount of blood loss from sawing his hand off, he would start becoming weak and what not.

lol at the ladies missing their vibrators

damn shane went in on carl, i like the dilemma that shane and the hoe broad now face

smh at the black dude being a pussy

in my opinion the older blonder chick is flyer than the sherriff's wife shane should juss get at her

That's what I don't get, there are two single, kidless women right there in the colony, and he finds the need to get with his best friends wife.

Actually, it was kinda explained in the comic why Shane wanted Lori, but it was something silly. It's not something a normal male would do, and just seemed to be put in place for drama.

SMH at black boul bein named "T-Dog", catchin a Epic Beard Man ass whuppin, and worst of all in my opinion, agonizing over whether to free a drugged up skinhead that would surely kill him given the chance

You know damn well every black man in this thread would've handled it like this:

"Hey, you can't just leave me here!"

"Sure I can. PEACE. *throws up deuces*"

I won't get too mad at the show however, since the first black character they introduced was a strong, intelligent, loving father.

You damn right. Merle shouldn't have been fucking up and acting crazy like he was. Otherwise he wouldn't have been cuffed up. And I damn sure wouldn't have went back for his ass, the way him and his punk ass brother were acting. If it were me his brother would have never known he was up there at all. We would have told him that his brother got killed lol.....

Both of them rednecks might have gotten fucked up if I was in that situation lol

where the fuck did meryl go??

the reason why the zombies werent really in the store anymore or near the door was because he probably left the area a lil while before they could get to him. he had to have jumped off the roof or something into a dumpster.

i think he's on his way back to the camp and ready to fuck up shit

the good thing about the series is that it doesnt simply deal with people trying to kill zombies, it deals with how actions affect others, the social intricacies of surviving after a catastrophic disaster, etc. and an ongoing show has to have drama. if anything, it adds more to the storytelling and im sure everyone else will agree it has you wishing it was sunday again for the next episode.

AMC is officially the new HBO. I wasn't impressed with Rubicon but with this new series looking promising + Breaking Bad and Mad Men and AMC could just be the best network on TV

crazy how much AMC has grown in the last 5 years. It was pretty much a nothing channel not that long ago. Whoever is the head of programing over there should really be getting a raise

because it never occurred to me that a series about zombies would be dope. Even though I've seen almost every zombie movie out; it still never occurred to me to make a series out of it. It will be interesting to see if a series about them can sustain both an audience and a story line though

Had to happen sooner or later: AMC has cancelled a drama series -- political thriller Rubicon.

Rubicon will not continue following its sleepy first season, which averaged 1.6 million viewers and an ultra-soft 439,000 adults 18-49.

The network released the following statement:

"Rubicon gave us an opportunity to tell a rich and compelling story and we're very proud of the series. This was not an easy decision, but we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a phenomenally talented and dedicated team."

The AMC's first two dramas, Mad Men and Breaking Bad, were critical hits and have performed decently in the ratings. The network also had a limited series, The Prisoner, which only had a single run. The network's newest series, The Walking Dead, has been a smash with critics and in the Nielsens and quickly received a second season order.

Rubicon premiered on AMC on August 1, 2010 and was produced by Warner Horizon Television.

What I am saying is that the horror aspect is missing.I mean even with all you said,we should still see zombies eating humans and not just animals.I feel some of the scenes are drawn out with unecessary dialogue. For instance, what was the point of them trying to catch frogs? You got zombies roaming around and you let your guard down to hunt frogs, really? Then the scene with the wife beater was not needed. There really is no story being told that's exciting.

Plenty of people will get killed, dont worry. the book has plenty of gore/violence, but the story focuses more on the zombie apocalypse's long-term affects on the survivors and whats left of society than it does people getting eaten left and right.

they werent really in danger while catching those frogs. but my point is, the reason why they have dialogue is to make you care for the characters and create dynamic personalities for them. so the shit makes you more attentive to the show when they do get killed/maimed.

remember this isnt a movie, so it wont be "exciting" every scene of the show.

nigga...when you stressed out, don't have cigs/weed/drinks/whatever you use to cope with stress, you not gone be vigilante all day everyday...especially with some prime white rabbit puss like hers.

plus it's clear he was jealous of the other cops life. He took over as the leader, where as normally the other dude is the sheriff with the lovely family and what not. He finally saw his chance to be the hero, the leader, the father and all that. It's like the red ranger vs the green ranger for fans. They want the red ranger to be the leader because he's good at it and is shown that way but the green one is arguably just as good and both have the capabilities to shine until one slips up and gets usurped.
