What makes it worse they had a known actor with credentials to play the redneck. And LOL @ the asian dude driving a red mustang throughout a zombie filled atlanta

i have a problem with that.........

the zombies are attracted to sound, so if he's driving down the highway with the ALARM still going off, he's going to draw attention to himself as he goes back to the camp and basically bring the zombies with him.

if you see the previews for the next episode, the zombies basically start to infiltrate the camp (and the people wonder why). I have a take on it, either the Asian dude brought them with the alarm going off on the car, or the redneck gets infected, dies, and in his zombie state, remembers where the camp is and takes the lead on going up there for "food".

T-dogg has the most character out of all them. The redneck was the biggest jerk to him, called him the N, and he still went back and atleast made an attempt. Everyone else just ran away.

i knew that when t-dogg locked the door behind him, that the racist dude was coming back

The second episode's ratings were almost as big as the premiere, over 4 million, and a 13 episode second season has been offically ordered.

Third episode seems intense.

In my opinion both episodes were good, better than I expected. I like how they have some differences in the show from the comics, makes it more exciting not knowing exactly what they're going to do. I also like how they've added a few more characters. I have a feeling the racist dude is coming back because they could have easily killed him off. When he comes back I'm sure he'll stir up some shit. I'm not really a fan of catastrophes when there's a bad apple in the group because it just seems to be nuisance. I mean there are zombies trying to kill you all, do you really give a fuck if someone is black? Do you really want to be the asshole of the group?

F*ck that walking dead show,the comic itself already had some racial vibes against blacks but ill be dam if im going let that redneck bullsh*t slide too. You think they can get away with having a black dude whipping some white dudes ass and calling him cracker while spittin on him? White folks would cancel that show in a heartbeat. Thats our problem as blacks nowadays we just shrug our shoulders at these kind of things and put it to the back of our minds. I hope networks get bolder and bolder each year with theyre offensive material towards minorities on tv and movies including michael bay, just so I can see how long it will take for us to stop supporting this garbage they are getting away with. Heck I just seen this clip from always sunny in phillidelphia where this dude was in black face. Im done though, enjoy the this thread & show.....peace

When people are put into catastrophes or something epic has happened, there's that one person who has to be difficult and ridiculous. The whole "my way or no way at all" type person. I understand that when you're put into a zombie apocalypse, there are bound to be arguments and disagreements from being around so many different types of people. At the end of the day though, that shit should be let go. For example, the racist white dude in the show. Whether he is racist or not is irrelevant in the situation he was placed in. Although he may have hatred towards T-Dogg (or whatever his name is) it is pointless and should be the last thing on his mind. He should have just tried being part of the group instead of letting his power trip get the best of him. The bad apples just cause more dissension within the group when there are more important things to worry about.

Of course he got left behind the writers arent stupid. Thats theyre way of trying balance out or make viewers forget about all the things hes done which imo it doesnt. On top of that hes still alive so wheres the message? That coon ass house n*ggers (t-dog) still exist and black people should be quick and easy to forgive against our racist counterparts?Im sorry it would take more than him just getting left behind to convince me karma was the message. I didnt expect a 100% adaption of the book like sin city dam near was, but they really took a whole new route with the 2nd ep. Plus im not surprised at all cali by your comment, in fact I was somewhat waiting for u to post in the shows defense based on your previous post in regards to racism. Not to throw shots at you but in the words of NAS I do "detect a mental poison". Someone said the name t-dogg was overkill? What about everything else that happen to him?..smh His name was barely half the issue. yeah you right about the racial thang and i feel you. blacks should turn they backs but what other options do we have? none. this goes back to other threads ive made in other forums that cause of mlk jr. we as black people have to settle for bullshit from our white counter parts

Hey we're all entitled to our opinion. Mentally poisoned or not, I simply choose not to make a mountain out of a molehill whenever any media outlet deals with the issue of racism. If they wanted to be on the safe side, they could have omitted his character altogether. However part of the pathos and overall drama of the show is illustrating how very different people relate to each other when they're forced together; particularly in a crisis. I'm not going to call racism simply because a black man got called a ****** by a redneck hick who ended up looking like an ass in the end. There is also an African American woman, a zoning official for the city of Atlanta I believe, who is not stereotyped at all. But I see you failed to mention her altogether.

OK, somebody answer this for me: wtf is keeping these "walkers" alive? I would figure that the same thing that killed off the undead in "28 Day Later" (lack of food made the undead starve to death) would happen with this walkers in this show. If ATL has been overrun and the military has been shot to shit, obviously there supply of food and water is pretty much dead and gone. U can't tell me that an entire city of and the surrounding suburbs full of walkers are staying alive offa roadkill and stray animals.

So what's keeping these things alive?
