What was the point of adding a redneck to the series? He wasnt a original character in the comics, plus his role is gonna be drawn out with his redneck brother and friends lookin for him. The one black dude on the show has to be on some homeboy ish wit a backwards kangol in the freakin heat getting his ass whooped while being spit on and being called a n*gger. And to top it off hes the one who goes back to try and save him and feels guilty?FOH .Ive read almost every issue thus far but if they dont cancel off some off these extra characters besides glenn im done with this show.

i bet his partner has been fucking her for a minute now. in the first episode, the cop was telling about how they were having relationship problems anyway. the timeframe is about a few weeks i think, that would make the most sense

my question is how the hell is the infection spread? is it in the air, and only a small percentage of the population is immune to it, or is it soley spread by bites or scratches?

my guess to the lack of military influence is that a large percentage of soldiers had contracted the sickness as well, and surviving military had to pull back, regroup, and eventually go from city to city

In the book, it looks like something airborne or possibly in the water. No one knows yet, but you dont have to get bit or scratched by one, all you have to do is die in any way with your brain intact to turn. The infection itself doesnt kill So everyone is basically infected already...I dont know if they'll change that for this show though. Also, if they go by the book, Rick was in a coma for no more than a few months. And its pointless for yall to keep cross-referencing zombies in completely different movies and shows to eachother, it doesnt matter what the zombies or the virus/infection did on Land, or 28 Days or whatever, this isnt those, though Romero is the o.g. of the modern zombie depiction, they all have their own take. And lol @ the only zombie that knew how to hop the fence being a black dude....

maybe. They did drop the saw. But unless someone comes to save him, idk how. The black guy locked him up there from the inside and all the zombies were flooding the inside of that store. Maybe a group of rednecks ride through shooting the shit out of the corpses and frees him and they go in search for the cop, the black guy, the mexican, the black woman, and the asian...then they rape the blonde like hilter would want

I'm sayin...they gave dude a whole backstory (we didn't have to know he was racist). they made a point to show him bein handcuffed. they made a point to show the sheriff give the Black dude his key. and they made a point to to have the racist dude mention there was a saw in the tool set. and they made a point to show the Black dude knock over the tool set.

I'm not gonna say dude gets away without becoming infected...I'm just sayin with all that's already been shown, it's highly unlikely we've seen the last of dude...my guess is, he'll become infected and meet up with the Black dude again in a future episode or some shit...

i think he's gonna get out of the handcuffs somehow, maybe with the saw, then he escapes cleverly and meets up with them later on....idk how though, because the cop was speeding like a motherfucker away from all that

I think logically, they pull a Dawn of the dead 80's version. Have a band of redneck/bikers come through the town to pillage. Somebody wanders up the stairs after merking out most of the zombies and hears the racist crying about help. They talk to him, they say a black guy lef tthem their, they feel sorry, they save him. Somehow they meet back up with Glen and his people and they kill T-Dog or something. thats a logical and believable way of getitng him out this situation

The racist lived I'm sure and its gonna come back to haunt them.

T-dogg has the most character out of all them. The redneck was the biggest jerk to him, called him the N, and he still went back and atleast made an attempt. Everyone else just ran away.

In regards to the way the infections spreads...
In the comics.... Some might consider this a spoiler, so I'll put the text in white, but I don't think it's a spoiler.

In the comics it's discovered that anyone who dies becomes a zombie, unless they die from a brain injury. All the zombie bites do is kill the person due to bacterial infection.

The redneck's brother is in the woods with all the other survivors, I saw it in the preview for the next episode. He was snapping cause the cop and all of them came out of ATL and left his brother on the roof handcuffed, so he probably thinks they did him dirty not knowing that they were running out of time and dude really did drop the key when he was running back to unlock him. I think maybe they're gonna go back into the city to get him....if the racist wouldn't have been acting like a bitch, he could have been on the truck with everybody else, but no, he gotta start trippin and shit...I wouldn't have went back for him and them doors would have stayed unlocked, fuck that....that's just me though lol

SMH @ the only black dude out of the group being named "T-Dog", they could have named that nigga Dexter or some shit lol

And I saw on tv earlier that the series has already been signed on for another season after just 2 episodes....damn, everybody must be watching this shit
