The Walking Dead opener was pretty good, I'm gonna start checking for this.......

man i looved the first episode but my moms put me on some game. she was like all this show is is a "i am legend", "night of the living dead", "colony" type show. and she is absolutely right. but im still gone watch cause i want to see if ole boy finds his wife and son and beats up his best friend for fuckin his wife.

Do the zombies run or walk in this show? I seen the first episode last sunday but I didn't look at in it's entirety.

You cant sum up what a whole show is from watching one episode...and as far of the story,I am Legend shouldnt even be mentioned, but there'll probably be some minor similarities here and there to the other two but thats where it stops.

They generally walk around slow like the classic Romero zombies, but they when they're near a person to eat, they sort of hobble/walk at em kinda quick. They dont seem to full-on run.

I never seen an American zombie movie or show where the zombies wanted to eat a horse or other animal. They usually ate humans. At the end, that swarm of zombies chewed that horse down to the bone in a matter of minutes, like piranha. I guess these zombies have a distinctive trait that Romero's zombies don't have...........eat EVERYTHING not dead already.

In the new George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead, the dude trained that one zombie to eat a horse, but they never showed how he trained it to go after something other than humans.

Zombi (Zombie vs. Shark) doesn't count, since that was an Italian movie.

tryna do the right thing.
that is the typical horror movie thing. the black male charactor being selfless and dying. its the "safe" way to kill off the brotha.
